This 2024 completed home is almost 1700 sq ft and has four bedrooms and two baths in the main house. Newly added fishing/swimming/boat floating dock! The house is perfect for your next family reunion (or your first!). We have everything you need with full amenity kitchen, 2’x3’ propane griddle for your steaks, burgers or pancakes and bacon. Also a charcoal grill if you prefer. Even a BBQ pit built by my grandfather in 1960 that still works great! There’s a 20’ covered picnic table and covered parking. Bring fishing poles to try for bass in the fourth best bass lake in Texas! Also full of catfish, crappie and perch. Don’t forget bikes to enjoy all our 40 ac lake front home has to offer. Explore Nocona with its New Orleans style charm and local wineries. Our favorite is the Blue Ostrich Winery just 14 miles away. It’s only 45 miles to try your luck at the world’s largest casino, Windstar.
This lake house replaces the one my grandfather built in 1960. It was a labor of love. He knew the importance of family and built this site for our annual Cunningham/Hughes reunions. The concrete table and benches are original. Our family has owned property for for 7 GENERATIONS since 1888!
