At Country Cottage you can enjoy the best of both worlds. You have the country vibe while being only seven minutes away from fast foods, grocery stores, Walmart and Home Depot. If you love nature, you will enjoy watching the squirrels run up and down the big pecan tree in the front yard. There are chickens, roosters, and a huge turkey right across the street to add to your entertainment. However, if nature is not your thing, not to worry, our blackout shades in every room will do the trick. At Country Cottage-Broussard, you are in the center of Acadiana: Zoo of Acadiana is 3 miles away; Youngsville Sports Complex is 7 miles away; Shadows on the Teche, Rip Van Winkle Gardens, and the Tobasco Factory are only 10 miles away in New Iberia. While Downtown Lafayette is only 12 miles away. Just about anywhere you want to go in Acadiana is within a 15 minute drive. For our Medical Professionals, our three hospitals in Lafayette: Oshner's Lafayette General, Our Lady of Lourdes, and Heart Hospital are all 10 miles away. Lafayette Regional Airport is also 10 miles away. Our Cottage is located on a very peaceful and quiet dead-end street. There is parking for up to 4 cars. Our home has an easy keypad code access. The code is provided the day of arrival. Although you may not see me, I am only a phone call or message away. The easiest way to contact us is by calling me or Kenya. Our cell phone numbers will be provided at check in. Or you can message us via Airbnb. Strictly Enforced: No Pets No Parties No Indoor Smoking

Great Stay for St Julien Park Tournament

My family stayed here for a softball tournament at the Broussard Sports Complex at St Julien Park. It was a wonderful stay. Beds were comfortable, house was clean and nicely decorated, the house had all the cooking necessities, and the coffee bar and complimentary snacks were nice. Thank you for a great stay! The kids also loved the farm animals across the street!

Clean and nice

The cottage is exactly as listed. Very nice and spacious for a small group. It was really clean and had everything we needed. I’d definitely stay there again

Amazing stay!! My family and I did not want to leave! This house was soo clean and the king bed mattress was soooo comfortable! The house was beautifully decorated and just felt like home! They provided some snacks and drinks and the kitchen was stocked as well as the bathrooms. We forgot shampoo, conditioner and body wash and they supplied all of that! They were very helpful and answered us fast when we had any questions. We cannot wait to stay again when we come back to Broussard!

Louisiana trip

What a lovely home. Comfortable and well stocked. We stayed a month and needed to contact Kenya twice. She responded quickly and resolved our problems. You will enjoy your stay here. The chickens, roosters, turkeys and sheep across the street are fun to watch.

Baseball tournament

Grandson playied in baseball tournament In Broussard. House was only a few minutes from ballpark. Nice property, very clean, friendly management, many extra “little” things to make our stay even more convenient. Turkeys, goats, chickens across the street were fun to watch

I had a wonderful stay at Kenya and Dee’s cottage! The home was exactly as pictured—clean, modern, and very well maintained. It’s located on a quiet street, which made for a relaxing stay, and I loved the charm of seeing farm animals across the street.Kenya and Dee were exceptional hosts. They were warm and welcoming from the start and stayed in great communication with me and my family throughout our visit, making sure we had everything we needed.
