Relaxing Vacation

The house was very nice and in a beautiful location. My wife myself and our dog had an awesome and relaxing stay. This is one of the best places we have ever rented for our vacation.

We have been staying at Maggie & Kyle’s place now over 5 years with our pups. To tell you it’s our happy place doesn’t do it justice. If you’re looking to have a secluded cabin on a small lake and just relax this is it. From sunrise to sunset you can’t beat this place. Maggie & Kyle have made it easy to keep coming back. We’ll see next fall Ted & Joyce, Cameo & Clarence.

We had a fabulous week once again at this beautiful, relaxing, and peaceful cottage. The hosts are wonderful and the cottage is extremely clean, comfortable, and well stocked! There are beautiful touches throughout and the hosts have made wonderful improvements that make the cottage even more comfortable (which didn’t seem possible)! We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing, reading, hiking, swimming, day tripping, and eating great food. Many thanks, Maggie and Kyle for your thoughtfulness and hospitality! We love spending time at Vasha and have already booked our next visit.

Magical experience, and we will definitely return.

Absolutely beautiful and pristine location. We were looking for relaxation, and we certainly found it. The cottage was cozy and accommodating. While inside, we enjoyed the new large windows and doors that allowed us watch nature unfold right on our doorstep.

This was an amazing stay! We loved the house, the view over the lake is incredible! It was an incredibly peaceful stay, with lots of things to do on the water. We spent a lot of time fishing with our kids and letting them swim out to the floating dock. Everyone had a great time. The house is very clean and there are the amenities were great. The hosts certainly think of everything! I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet place to stay that really want to enjoy some time on the water.

Wonderful Trip

I hold this place in such high regard that I felt compelled to return this year. Its seclusion and privacy offers a truly serene retreat. They’ve made a lot of improvements which feels great. My family loves it. The view is beautiful, we enjoyed drinking our morning coffee listening to the loons. Would definitely stay again!

Lovely lake house

Spent four days here with my wife, infant son, and two dogs. Great location, lots of privacy, perfect for dogs. The dirt road to the house is very steep, but worth it for the privacy. Overall the house was well stocked with cooking /kitchen supplies, towels, lake towels, etc. I gave a 4 out of 5 stars for cleanliness due to a fare number of carpenter ants.. but it’s a lake house in the summer so no surprise there. Definately would rent again!

Nice quiet place for relaxation

We enjoyed our stay on the lake. It seemed like we had the whole lake to ourselves! The house had just about everything you could need. The road in was an adventure but it was worth the trip!

Beautiful property that satisfied our getaway expectations.

The property was well secluded and the owners willingness to assist in locating the property was a great kickoff to our stay. The property is well maintained and on top of a beautiful lake. I believe our dog enjoyed the area more than we did but hats off to the owners for their assistance in making it a wonderful stay for us.

Didn’t think it could get better

We have stayed here for the past 5 yrs. Maggie & Kyle bought it last year and when I tell you I didn’t think it could better I was wrong. They have taken a cottage and made it into an upscale lake house. When sitting in the main living area you feel you are part of the lake. Between watching the loons or the bald eagles nesting across the cove it is perfect! Can’t wait for our next visit. Ted, Joyce with Cameo & Clarence.

Peaceful mini- retreat

Our stay was just what we needed ! The deeply rich natural environment & stillness except for my desired loon presence , kingfishers , hummingbirds & dragon flies ! I relished my daily swims, walks , jacuzzi soaks , fireside time & the brilliance of the misty mornings , golden sunsets & starry sky! The abode provided comfy seating & beds & spacious open areas with an expansive wall of windows& unique artistic touches .

Perfect getaway

My three kids (ages 4-10) and I, along with our dog, had the most perfect time here for a few days. We loved the quiet lake, location of the home and the home itself. I've rented many vacation houses and this was by far the most thoughtfully stocked! Easily within 15 minutes to anything you might need but feels like you're in the middle of nowhere. We were all sad to leave and the kids have made me promise we'll be back again!

Most relaxing vacation ever

This vacation was the most amazing. The hostess was very attentive the property was just as described but honestly doesn't do it justice,the views are amazing. They set us up with 4th of July, smores and a wonderful bottle of wine. Firepit stocked. Very pet friendly. No reason to leave once you have arrived. Amazing experience. Thank you!

Our favorite VRBO!

We had the pleasure of staying the week at Vasha. The property is beautiful and well maintained. We’ve stayed in dozens of rentals across the US, and this one was definitely the best stocked! Maggie & Kyle were so generous and had excellent communication. The property is so close to everything you would want to experience in NH. Our family (and golden doodle!) enjoyed our time immensely. The beds are fantastic and the views are one of a kind. We look forward to coming back already!

Little bit of Heaven here on earth

If we could rate it higher we would. This was our 4th visit to this property and our best. Maggie & Kyle are perfect hosts and the “little” extras, firewood, charcoal etc.. were welcome surprises. The house is private and secluded but a quick ride to anything you’d wish for. We wanted to unplug for the week and that’s what we accomplished. Us and our 2 dogs can’t wait for our spring visit.
