Large Log Cabin Minutes From Lake Barkley and Land Between the Lakes Cadiz, KY

This is the perfect, cozy, rustic and secluded log cabin home for you in the country. With scenic views of rolling hills and surrounded by beautiful woods, it's great for a weekend getaway. It is so relaxing on the back deck, or all the way around the wrap around deck! With 3 bedrooms and 2 baths it’s a perfect family stay or a fisherman's or outdoorsman's stay. It's just a quick 15–25-minute drive away from both Lake Barkley and Kentucky Lakes. You'll also find stores like DGS and Local Markets within a 15–20-minute radius. You'll have easy access to Boots Randolph and Arrowhead Golf Courses. If you're up for some exploring, hiking or just fun, you can visit the Land Between the Lakes Recreation Areas (LBL-BTR) where the Buffalo Range, The Homeplace, or many numerous scenic areas are along the Trace. The Trace continues from Dover, TN and comes out in LBL/Cadiz. It's also a nice drive or motorcycle ride. You will also be very close to Barkley Lodge and Marina. Our log home is nestled well in the countryside between these two towns. When it comes to dining, there are plenty of fast food and restaurant options within about 15-20 minutes in Cadiz, KY or Dover, TN. Cadiz is a small town with antique stores, if you like to shop or browse and is very friendly. Dover is a larger town with several stores and restaurants. Plus, the Bumpus Mills Boat Dock and Marina are nearby for some fun on the water, along with many other lake and outdoor options. Whether you like hiking, boating or just relaxing, this is the place for you. An added bonus is that there is a 20K Generator, so if the power goes out, yours will remain on. Wi-Fi is available. Bring your laptops and tablets, and currently one tv connected to Roku to use in the family room. We are working on having another in the basement soon. There is also a pool table in the basement for use. Included with your stay are starter packs of paper towels and toilet tissue, as well as basic soap, shampoo and conditioner. There is a Keurig coffee maker. There is also plenty of floor space if you would like to bring air mattresses. The owners are super responsive and just minutes away if you need anything.
