The location of this property is great. Itâs easy to get to everywhere and in a rather quiet neighborhood. The hot tub was great and for a winter stay it was nice that itâs so close to the back door and still feels quiet. Also love that they provided coffee. The communication from this host was lacking. I was receiving messages from Vrbo that I shouldâve heard from the host 72 hours before our stay. I finally contacted them at 5pm the night before our stay. I didnât hear anything by 830 day of so contacted Vrbo. While I was waiting for them to get back to me I heard from the host that Iâd get info before checkin. This is fine but Iâm pretty sure I only heard from them because I contacted Vrbo. Check out instructions were provided late in the day the day before checkout. Thatâs fine but I guess I donât understand why it isnât just sent immediately so we can keep up on those things. The back door code did not work. I did not contact the host but probably should have. The front walk was not shoveled at all and very dangerous for Minnesota weather. Some of the pictures of the listing were mislabeled which affected our sleep situation a bit. The half bath doesnât have a picture and it isnât the most appealing. The shelf in the shower is so unlevel it doesnât hold anything well. The house suited our needs but definitely needs some more cosmetic work as well. Overall this was a fine rental but definitely feels more like an after thought than a lot of others i have stayed at.
