Situé au troisième étage d'un condominium fermé récemment construit, cette unité confortable de deux chambres donne sur un magnifique jardin tropical depuis le balcon d'entrée et la fenêtre de la cuisine complète.
En séjournant dans la chambre avec vue sur l'océan, vous serez accueilli le matin par le bruit de la fontaine et des colibris recueillant le nectar des vignes de clématite qui couvre le balcon de la chambre et l'arbre pittoresque.
Couvert de clématites et de jeunes palmiers séparent les balcons de la chambre de la cour avec la piscine et vous donnent l'impression de vivre dans la villa privée.
La cuisine complète équipée d'ustensiles de cuisine, micro-ondes, cafetière Breville, l'espace de vie avec TV LCD Bravia, programmation par câble internationale, Internet haut débit Wi-Fi, Bose iPhone Dock Radio, les meubles vintage en teck importés d'Inde, vous feront sentir de luxe .
La copropriété est située à 16 km de l'aéroport international de Puerto Plata, à quelques pas de la magnifique plage de Playa Alicea, du Parque Mirador et à 5 minutes à pied du centre de Sosua avec ses boutiques, ses restaurants, sa vie nocturne et son casino.
Il n'est pas nécessaire de louer une voiture, mais si vous décidez de faire une excursion d'une journée pittoresque à La Playa Grande ou pour des aventures en montagne dans 21 cascades ou de passer la journée sur la plage de kite ou le soir de la vie nocturne, des bars et restaurants le long de la bande de plage de Cabarette, la place de stationnement hors rue est à votre disposition.

Always a great time at this property. The owner is exceptional and so are the folks that work on property. The guards always make you feel at home and safe. I highly recommend and I will continue to stay at this property as long as it's available. What you can't beat is convenience, close to the shops, restaurants and almost beach front. 5 Stars every time!!

Very enjoyable stay

Daniel the security meet us and carried our luggage and showed us around the condo. He was wonderful and always right there to help and answer any questions. The location is extremely walkable with a plethora of restaurants to choose from. Playa Alicia Beach is less than a two minute walk away and Sosua Beach 5 to 5 minute walk. Grocery stores within walking distance, so you do not need a car if you choose to stay in Sosua. The pool at the condo is always clean and very well kept, however more lounge chairs would’ve been nice. Overall, we had a wonderful relaxing stay,Thank you!

Always an A+ Experience

The property and property manager never disappoints. The property is beautiful and the manager is very responsive. And everyone is very attentive- especially the security at the front gate - some of the friendliest faces you'll see and happy to help with any concerns. This is not my first time here and will not be my last at Hispaniola Sol!

We were two couples that shared this lovely condo. Plenty of room for all. It is so close to everything that you could possibly need. The caretaker, gardener and housekeeper were very kind and accommodating. Thank you Misha, for the great experience.

Really Nice Place! I didn't want to leave.

Misha's condo is great. The pictures are accurate, and the place is even nicer in person. Misha was easy to talk to beforehand, and communication regarding access to the condo and amenities was timely, concise and easy to understand. The condo was spotless when I arrived. The furniture is really nice. It's a great place for two couples, or two singles. The two full baths are en suite for privacy, and both bedrooms have balcony's. The washer/dryer was great. The internet was great. It's not mentioned, but it has a US (Miami) IP address, which means netflix, AOL radio, VPN's for "work" etc, all work great. The location is excellent. You don't need a car. There are many restaurants, banks, nightlife, beaches all within short walking distance. Bailey's and Moru Mai are restaurants that I tried. Both are highly recommended. The Bose dock is great, really powerful. You could throw a party..its that loud. Just bring your ipod and plug in. (Don't throw the party though)..lol I invited guests and played music with no issues, but this is not a frat house atmosphere. Be mindful of your surroundings. The Flatscreen TV is maybe 37 inches or so. It has HDMI, component, PC, and AV inputs. I connected my ipad via HDMI, and watched my movies. Misha includes wash cloths with the towels, which is not always the case in the DR. The towels are soft and of good quality. The included drinking water/cooler is a nice touch. Everything was great, I really had zero complaints. The kitchen has everything a normal person would need. The only nice to have would have been some standard spices/seasoning for cooking, but not a big deal at all. I will definitely be back if I spend more time in the area.

Great property and location!

This is my second time staying at El Batey. It is a beautiful property in a great location. The property manager was very responsive to the few questions I had. I highly recommend.

Wonderfully relaxing!

Stayed for 4 nights with my teenage son. The accommodations were perfect for us - spacious, airy, secure, and comfortable. Misha answered all questions quickly before our stay so that everything went smoothly during our stay. Walk to beach is less than one block. There are no words to describe how lovely Alicia Beach is. Our only complaint about our stay was that it was much too short!

Perfect spot!

We spent a week here and it was in a perfect location - 2 minutes one way to Playa Alicia and 10 minutes the other way to Sosua Bay. There are lots of good restaurants within a 10 minute walk and we enjoyed some great food. The mercado is only about 5 minutes away and they have everything you need if you want to make your own meals in the condo. The condo was very comfortable with everything you would need for your stay (dishes, towels, wi-fi) and the guards were very nice with big smiles all the time. Misha, the owner, was very helpful and responded to all our questions very quickly. It was a little noisy a couple of nights but overall we loved our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Felt like "Home away from Home"!

We just finished 4 wonderful weeks at Hispaniola Sol and it was absolutely perfect. We love the Sosua area, but with such a bad experience with our condo rental last year there, we were very hesitate about returning. Well we sure hit the jackpot this time. This luxury condo has everything anyone would need. It is very beautiful, tastefully decorated and very comfortable, feeling just like home. There is every amenity that you would ever need, all in perfect condition and the condo was absolutely spotless. The beds were very clean and comfortable with nice new linens and we had plenty of beautiful thick fresh towels. We had most of our meals at home and the kitchen had absolutely everything you need for cooking. The housekeeping, security guards and gardener were all very delightful, friendly and very eager to please. If you needed anything at all they were happy to help. The owner also check in often to see if there was anything we needed. The condo has two beautiful balconies to enjoy your meals or afternoon cocktails while taking in the beautiful scenery of the gardens and the pool. Plenty of birds singing and a nice shaded breeze from the huge trees. The hummingbirds were a special treat feeding off the giant clematis vines climbing up all the trees. The pool is cleaned everyday and very refreshing for the hot afternoons. The location of the condo is perfect, a few steps from the beach, around the corner from restaurants, bars and shops, but yet tucked away for privacy and any noise at night. Again, perfect! We have been home only 2 days and miss it already, it felt like home away from home. Highly recommend this rental and we will definitely be returning.

Amazing and Convenient!

Let me start this review by saying that Misha (owner) went above and beyond to work with me on my stay at Hispaniola Sol. I had to reschedule my trip a couple times and he worked with me every step of the way! As far as the condo goes, it is as beautiful as the pictures with more amenities than you can use. The best part of the condo however, is it's convenient location. You are a few footsteps in one direction from one of the best beaches in the area and in the other direction all the shops, restaurants, bars etc. I would stay here again in a heart-beat and highly recommend it to anyone looking to visit the area. -Elated Guest-

Enjoyable Stay

My husband and I stayed in this small but lovely two bedroom condo for eight nights. The condo and furniture were just as they appeared in the photos. The bed in the master bedroom was extremely comfortable and the combination safe deposit box provided was invaluable. As you can't drink the tap water in the DR, having a purified water dispenser in the condo was another plus. Hispaniola Sol is on a quiet street and the security guards there are particularly friendly and helpful. During our stay, we did have a maintenance issue in the condo and texted Misha, the owner. He responded promptly and addressed the problem. When my husband and I return to Sosua we would not hesitate to stay here again. All in all, a good value.

My husband, daughter, son-in-law and I stayed 3 nights in the condo. Everything was just as advertised and the photos on the website were exactly as the rental indicated. We really enjoyed the balcony and having our meals that we cooked in the kitchen out on it. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms very clean and modern. "The apartment was a perfect accommodation for our stay in Sosua. The apartment was extremely spacious and clean. It was only 3 min walk to the strip. There was a supermarket just 5-10 min away and also a restaurants. The apartment kitchen was well equipped and the security was very friendly."

Nice aesthetics but lacking creature comforts

The condo is nice and in a great location. The security guards are very friendly and helpful. There is a tenant in the unit directly below that will complain if there is noise including "loud" music, too much partying or door slamming. Respect the house rules and you'll be fine. The deal breaker for me is the landlord, who did furnish them upon request, does not typically supply washcloths as do all hotel and luxury rental accomodations do in generous supply and is not clear about that at the time of rental. I don't like unpleasant surprises on vacation. In an already humid and warm climate there is no a/c in the living room so it feels like a sauna most of the time. There is also no access to the washer & dryer in the unit as they are exclusive use by the housekeeping personnel. I paid for luxury and received a deluxe level accomodation. I would only recommend this rental if the items contained in this review are not important to you. I think the price point is good only if you know whats included or more importantly, what's excluded from the price. I would only stay again if changes were made to the identified concerns. For these reasons a 2-star review is justified based on my experience.
