Quaintly remodeled boutique bungalow just steps away from Batesville’s Lyon College. 2bedroom, 1 bath home with a large back yard for your pets. 2 minutes to thriving Main Street, Batesville and just blocks away from White River Medical Center & Batesville’s Community Center. Bring your bikes to hit the Lyon College trails or your kayaks for a float trip on the beautiful Poke Bayou. Use the Lyon’s Den for your base camp to explore our riverside park and walking trails and then dine in some of our amazing restaurants!

We absolutely loved staying at this charming place! We were comfortable for our stay and loved the location, which is convenient to everything you could need. The host responds in a timely manner and makes sure you’re are comfortable for your stay. Definitely will be checking the availability the next time we are in the area!!

Great stay!

We enjoyed our stay! Everything was exactly like it appears in the listing. This was the perfect place to stay for the weekend while attending my daughter’s basketball tournament. Location was great!

The property was just as described. The beds were great for sleeping. There were a few minor issues but nothing to keep us from booking again. We look forward to our next visit to Batesville.

Great for a small family.

Cozy house for small family and close to many things. Walmart and Kroger just a short drive away, movie theater too. Nice quiet neighborhood. Great communication with host and enjoyed our trip.

Great location for family/friends

My mom and I stayed 3 nights for a Family Reunion. The location was perfect. CJ was the perfect hostess and was responded quickly with the only hiccup we encountered. The pictures and description is spot on. We will stay here again at the next family reunion.

Short trip in Batesville

Was down to visit friends and stayed here. It’s a nice little house perfect for 3-4 people and in a great location only a couple minutes from Harrison street. Nicely furnished with almost everything you could need. The host was super friendly and helpful as well.

Long weekend

My wife and I spent a long weekend in Batesville to see my son who attends Lyon College. The house was perfect for our stay and my son enjoyed some home cooked meals by my wife in the kitchen. The owners were great and even went by the house before we got there to make sure the heat was on as it was a very cold weekend. Location couldn’t have been better as the house is a very short walk to the campus. Will definitely stay again in the future.

Great location oh, and the anonymity’s we’re perfect. Only drawback was the mattresses were so uncomfortable other than that it was perfect thanks for everything and if I return, I would consider staying there again and suggesting others do the same.

Visit to see our son at Lyon. The location is literally a 1 minute drive to campus, so close you can hear the church bells chime. House has everything you need and an even better bonus, a place to make your college student a home cooked meal!

Perfect for Scot Baseball weekend

Visiting our son at Lyon College along with our 2 dogs. This quaint cottage is in the perfect location with sight line to the campus and a quiet neighborhood. Clearly a lot of thought was put into restoring the property which was comfortable, very clean, and furnished with everything needed for a weekend in Batesville. We cooked and use the laundry facilities with ease. Everything in the kitchen seemed brand new and there were plenty of towels provided. Thanks for making our stay comfortable & easy!

My husband Rusty and I are both Batesville natives and very passionate about our hometown. We love to travel and stay in vacation rentals when we’re on the go, so we decided to offer up that same option to guests traveling to our thriving small town. We wanted to create a space that felt posh and upscale, but still cozy and comfortable. Welcome to the Lyon’s Den!

The close proximity to all of Batesville’s greatest attractions was our favorite feature of this home. We love hearing the bells ring from the Lyon College Chapel. Also, the clean, safe neigborhood allows us to let our own children play outside without fear.

The decor and interior details are so fun! Stay in the “Green Room” bedroom or the “Seeing Stars” Room. Each bedroom has it’s own quirky theme.
