Welcome to Birdie's Beach Retreat! A beautiful mid-century modern house with all the updated amenities you could need. Only a 10 minute walk from the beautiful Lake Michigan beaches and a five minute drive to year-round hiking and outdoor activities at the Indiana Dunes National Park. Enjoy our 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house with a large, private fenced-in backyard and deck. Beautiful indoor and outdoor space makes this the perfect getaway. House-trained dogs welcome! Long weekend trip with our 5 year old grandson and our lab to explore Dunes National Park. Location was close to the lake and park trails. The house had everything we needed and then some! The best dog friendly home we have ever stayed in! The host had lots of treats, toys and dog beds. Our grandson loved all of the games. Beds were very comfortable. Backyard was great for the dog too. Everything was spotless. Very nice MCM home!

Nice Location near Miller beach, Pet friendly! On time communication. 10 minutes' walk to miller beach, 20 minutes' drive to Indiana Dunes state Park. They have kid's game, nice fence and patio, fully kitchen supplier which is very convenience. Comfortable bed which makes up sleep really good. it is a great Trip and highly recommend.

Very nice, clean and well maintained house! You have everything you need. The beaches are gorgeous, walking distance. The hosts are very nice and respond immediately on your questions! We had an amazing, relaxing experience! Loved it!

Perfect family vacation home

Loved the Miller Beach property, it had everything we needed and more.This home is very spacious and has lots of comfortable gathering areas, inside and outIt was more than enough room for our group of 4 adults, 1 child and 1 dog. They have thought of everything! Beautiful beach and Lake Michigan within walking distance. Two restaurants within walking distance, lots of games and activities for inside and out. We really appreciated all of the beach chairs, umbrella and wagon. Honestly, they have thought of everything you would possibly need for a fabulous vacation.We loved it

Miller Beach Weekend

First and foremost my family enjoyed themselves. The grand kids had a blast with board games (no cell phones) and bumper pool. No one slept, my daughters enjoyed the location and backyard deck. Nice big clean kitchen for family breakfast. Great place for family gatherings, located near Miller Beach. Quiet neighborhood, easy access to freeways and restaurants. Host was available for all of our needs including access to streaming services. Highly recommended!!!

The living is easy

Two families came together with 4 adults, 3 kids, and 2 dogs. We were shocked at how spacious the house is and how many thoughtful extras it contained. To begin with, there was more than enough comfortable space for all of the people and dogs in our group. We had ample space to spend time together indoor and outdoor. The dogs were welcomed with SO many toys, dog bowls, and a massive fenced in yard. There was no worry about running out of any soaps, paper towels, or anything of that sort. We walked to 2 beaches and had coolers, chairs, wagon...all available to use. The stay could not have been more comfortable and easy. I highly recommend anyone to stay here! Thanks for an amazing time!

The host was very responsive and helpful! The house had 2 floors, and only the bottom level (basement) had a TV to share for all guests. Unfortunately, the bottom level was cold, and we didn't find any space heaters. It would have been great if there was a TV in the common room upstairs where it was warmer and gave access for any guests who are handicapped (unable to go downstairs). We also didn't use the shower downstairs because it was too cold. The bedrooms would have been nicer if there were black out curtains. Most curtains were sheer, so it wasn't very private, especially in the common room upstairs. Lastly, the washer needed major cleaning. My family relied on using the washer/dryer for clean clothes, but we found mold in the washer drum until after we used it. We had 6 guests, and 4 of us got skin rashes after wearing the washed clothes. Otherwise, the beds were comfortable, and we stayed warm wearing layers since we were limited to 75 house temperature. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast and eat our meals.
