Book with confidence!!! This is our newly listed 2nd vacation home in Massanutten! We created our 1st one in 2017, and it's been a success, with over 300 - 5 star reviews. We haven't changed a thing. Same great accommodations and excellent service!!!

Nestled in the heart of Massanutten Resort, is a superb chalet called "The Pistachio Nut"" Our chalet is located in a great location and is close to either the ski slopes or the water park. Its situated on a quiet street for privacy and relaxation.

We enjoyed our stay here for JMU Parent's Weekend and look forward to returning! The owners have put great effort into creating a space where you immediately feel welcome and comfortable. The house was very clean and had more than everything we needed.

This cottage is perfect for a fall weekend away! We sat outside on the deck, cooked dinner in the well equipped kitchen and enjoyed competing on the arcade games in the game room. The host has given a great deal of thought to the many details in this home to make sure you have everything you need for an enjoyable stay. We will definitely be returning!

Mike’s house is very well appointed, and has everything you could possibly need, from spices, baggies and foil in the kitchen to the arcade downstairs. Mike has thought of everything! It was a great location for all of our weekend adventures. Mike is a very gracious host and was awaiting our arrival and gave us a very thorough review of his house and the amenities. We really appreciate staying at his house. It had everything we could need and then some! Thanks Mike!!

This home was beyond perfect for our family. Three bedrooms all perfect sized for teens and two with extra beds. Mike met us at the house to show us around when we arrived, from that conversation and all the extras it is obvious that he loves and cares for this house. No corner was cut, from the board games throughout the house, brochures about all the local sites, name brand cookware and appliances to the arcade basement to all the small touches like a well stocked kitchen, bathroom and laundry room. If we ever come back this way we will definitely stay again. I almost forgot to mention the pools, gym was amazing and there were so many things to do at the resort, no one was bored.

Great Stay!!

This was a wonderful warm cozy home that we will always try to stay at when we are visiting the area. The owner’s go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need for your vacation. Only wish we could have stayed longer!

Our two granddaughters 7 & 9 had a blast! Lots to do here. They swam, rode there bikes, rode ponies, petting zoo, played on playgrounds and of course shopped. Lots to do. Mike was a great host! Fun was had by all. Arcade was a hit with them and my husband.

We had such a great weekend at the Pistachio Nut! The home is so cozy and beautifully maintained. The hosts were welcoming and available and had truly thought of everything to make our stay seamless. They provided everything we needed, from cold bottled water to fun games, a well-stocked kitchen, and comfy beds. The house was so easy to navigate: uncluttered and well labeled. We are really hoping to return sometime in the future!

Great Mountain House

Our family came to the area to visit Shenandoah National Park. This was a great place to stay toward the middle of the park that had beautiful drives in every direction. The house was very clean and our kids LOVED the game room!
