Wooded setting, close to town, clean! ATV & snowmobile from front door!

This clean and well-appointed home is located 1.5 miles from Downtown Ely, in a private/wooded setting. After a day of adventuring, enjoy coming home to this peaceful retreat. Vaulted ceilings, one-level, large/fully-equipped kitchen, spacious living with an excellent outdoor space for yard games, grilling, dining at the outdoor table or relaxing around the bonfire. Bedroom 1 features a California king-sized bed and attached en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower. Bedrooms 2 & 3 each have a queen-sized bed, spacious closet and share a full bathroom which is located in the common hallway just outside of the bedrooms.
Starlink Wi-Fi, Smart TV, Keurig K-cup coffee machine, board games, corn hole yard game, ping pong table in garage, white linens & towels provided, air-conditioned and whole-home air exchange system (benefiting those with seasonal allergies and asthma), ceiling fans in each room, heated/attached garage, pack & play, toys, books and high chair available for young kids (upon request).
Direct access to the Snowmobile and ATV trail only a half mile from our driveway. Large driveway and parking space for trailers. Let us know if you plan to use these trails and we will provide maps detailing how to access from our home.

Friendly / well-behaved dogs welcome. Please note, we have neighbors with dogs and small children who walk past our home daily, not to mention wildlife, so we ask that your pets be always under your control, and you pick up their droppings from the yard.
$75 pet fee, per stay. As much as we absolutely LOVE them, we do not allow huskys or retrievers due to hair type. (Please let us know the breed at time of booking).

You can relax knowing that our home will always be ready for you and we will answer the phone if there is anything you need. We live locally and are happy to help anytime.

Check-in after 2:00 pm.

- Log-out of any personal accounts on TV.
- Doors & windows locked.

Our stay was great! Nice rooms with comfortable beds, a fully stocked kitchen, and a nice patio with a fire pit that we used multiple nights. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place in Ely!

This place was absolutely amazing. The surrounding forest is beautiful and the Ely is a lovely city full of interesting shops and food. The trails nearby are also great. The check in was seamless and secure and the hosts were great.

Great Ely getaway

We really enjoyed this property. Spacious for a family of 4, perfect amount of cooking utensils and spices, lots of info on the area. Communication was great and the area is very peaceful. Would love to come back for another stay sometime. Would highly recommend this place to family and friends.

Wonderful property & thoughtful host

Property was clean, nice with added extras like basic spices and oil (which we had forgotten) in the kitchen, shampoo & conditioner bottles in case we needed them and easy to use door locks & electronics. The layout was really nice for 7 of us (and 1 dog) to be together or spread out as needed. Wonderful place to stay!

It's a great place to relax!

The house was soooo nice, was set up to just relax. Loved the back patio and fire pit. They had everything you wanted for a relaxing weekend. Tons of information on what to do in Ely also.

Amazing property!

This was the perfect location for our family retreat! Very close to Ely and and its norther MN hospitality as well as within reasonable driving distance to state parks and Voyagers national park! I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. Not to mention, the owners left out some toys for our toddler to help with the location transition (and we forgot toys...); so thoughtful!

Wonderful home! It was so clean, everything was thoughtfully labeled and we had all we needed to make our stay comfortable. Loved the selection of games, the png pong table had a lot of use, the outdoor space was beautiful. The location was ideal, close to everything but while at the home we felt miles away from the busy world. Thank you for letting us share your beautiful and thoroughly clean house.

This property was absolutely amazing! I would absolutely stay here again. More than enough space for my family and my handicapped Mother was able to get in and out wonderfully! We really wanted something one level so she would be able to visit and this was perfect! Even handicap railings in the master bathroom. Inside and out the home is beautiful. Can't wait to plan our next trip!

Secluded Getaway

Property gives the feeling of seclusion and privacy while being conveniently close to town. It was as spacious and comfortable as the listing made it appear and everything was easy to use and clearly labeled. The beautiful flower garden was a nice bonus.

Better Than Advertised

Great private property. You are in the woods and a mile from Ely. Everything in the house is labeled so no guessing on lights, cabinets, or rules. Extremely clean and well organized. It is very spacious and furniture and beds are comfortable. Great VRBO experience.

Hello! I'm Kelsey. My husband Brad and I have a 5 year old son, a dog, and own a small business here in Ely! Brad and I met while working as crew on a privately owned super yacht, on which we traveled the world, so we are no stranger to hosting and preparing for a top-notch experience. I am originally from Rochester, MN and Brad is originally from Perth, Western Australia. We love calling Ely home and planting our roots in this beautiful place. Some of our favorite things to do here is spending time on the lakes, pontooning, kayaking, snowmobiling, shed hunting for moose and deer antlers, and cross-country skiing to name a few. I also have to mention another of my favorite things to do in Ely, during the warmer months, is the Ely Farmers Market in Whiteside Park. Tuesdays from 5-7pm. There are food trucks, fresh baked goods, locally-made jewelry, fresh flowers, etc, plus the playground for kids. Great evening of family and community fun.
Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your time here better! Generally, we keep a low profile unless reached out to.
