Starfire 1973

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a good stay in this property except for the barking dog next door . There were times when the barking went on for over an hour. There were days when the dog was let out at 4:00 am and left to bark.

Great Family Winter Vacation House

Great house for all ages. We had two nursing mothers, babies and toddler and parents. Accommodated everyone and it was great to drive back and forth to Mountain House for everyone to trade cars, etc. It would be great in the summer as well.

Clean and close to many things. Hot water runs out quickly and had to shower in cold water. Got hot and had to sleep with fans which property did provide. Property provide very small shampoo and conditioner so you will need to bring more if you stay more than a day.

Winter Trip

Great location and convenient mountain access. We had a number of minor maintenance issues. The management company was extremely responsive and helpful in getting these resolved.

This was a beautiful location and so close to the river and hiking trails. Very serene getaway and beautifully decorated. Everything worked great and the place came pretty stocked on kitchen spices and kitchen stuff. Loved the location, the stay, and the leasing company were great to work with. The only reason this place gets a 4 star review is because all of the beds were not comfortable. The twin beds absolutely need to be replaced because one of them was so worn down on one side that it made the bed uneven to sleep on. The master bedroom on the 3rd level was pretty hard and I’m a side sleeper so my arms would go numb from sleeping on my side for too long because of the bed’s hardness. The pillows were so worn down that you had to stack like 3 just to get enough head support to sleep well. But these are easy fixes and I hope that the owner or leasing agency makes these improvements. It was almost perfect except for this one aspect. Otherwise loved staying here!

We had a great time; the master bedroom was great..comfortable and we liked the fireplace. Didn’t realize the unit was 3 floors with the main floor being up one set of stairs. We wish you could access the unit through the front door instead of going through the garage. We would also suggest putting a screen door on the back so that, in the summer, you could have it open without concerns about what might fly in.All in all, we had a great stay….
