This was the perfect place to stay! The kitchen was well stocked with cooking and serving supplies. We were in town for our son’s outdoor wedding. The house was perfect to come to at night and wake up in. The balcony was a great place to relax, see the stars then have coffee in the morning before the busy day’s activities. We highly recommend this beautiful property.

Silverthorne Family Trip

We had eight wonderful days at this property. It was convenient for a variety of day trips to Breckenridge, Keystone, Idaho Springs, Leadville, Pikes Peak. Lots of good biking, hiking, and shopping. House was very well equipped and held our group of six easily. Beds were good. Saw plenty of mule dear out the back window. Even with neighboring houses, it has a good sense of privacy. Would definitely come back if we ever had the opportunity.

Perfect ski Getaway

We found this home so comfortable after 4 long days of skiing. We appreciated the easy access to I-70 which made getting around Silverthorne, Dillon, and Frisco a breeze. The hosts were very responsive and the check-in, check-out procedures were simple. Great house!

Outstanding for family getaway

Outstanding house and location with spectacular views toward Keystone. Be sure to catch a sunrise and sunset out the front window.Well appointed kitchen and plenty of space for the whole family. Everything was exactly as listed.Note: If you are up during the winter and it is snowy, plan ahead and enter/exit the neighborhood cautiously as the plows don’t always make it through until later in the morning.

Summer getaway

Great location, perfectly situated between Breck, Frisco, Dillon, Silverthorne with scenic views all around. We hiked close by, went to the lake, water rafted, mountain biked and even aught an art fair in Keystone. Perfect location and home had everything we needed, highly recommend!

We live in the North Metro Denver area, (Thornton.) I am a retired teacher and watercolor artist. Many of my paintings, mostly nature, are on display in the cabin. Greg was an electronics engineer and now an energy auditor. We love our mountain home but also like to travel. We enjoy sharing the beauty and peace we find at the cabin by making it available to others when we can't be up there. (Of course we like the extra income, too.) We ski and hike and love to play tennis

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

Our cabin is located near Silverthorne, at the top of Mesa Cortina, foot of Buffalo Mountain and backs to the national forest. You can walk right out into the forest from out backyard. We are at the end of the trail so there is no traffic to disturb the peace. There are mountains views from every window and the windows are tall. We are only an hour and 20 minutes from Denver and the epi center of 4 ski areas, Keystone, A-Basin, Breckenridge, Copper, and Vail. We are 15 minutes from the beautiful Lake Dillon Reservoir where you can walk, bike, boat, kayak, canoe, and watch free and paid concerts at the venue overlooking the lake and dine at great restaurants nearby. We have an open family living space with fireplace, couches, granite island, 2 dining areas inside, and, large front deck and smaller back deck with grill to dine or relax outside. In other words a little mountain paradise. Rec room with Large screen TV/Comcast and guest streaming. Easy access, roads and drive-way are plowed as needed by county and plow service.

Gas fireplace, high speed internet, comcast. Board games and puzzle, large screen smart TV with comcast. Kitchen fully stocked with plates, silverware, cooking utensils, including insta-pot, pots and pans. Amenities are available in all bathrooms. 2 decks for relaxing, eating and star gazing. Outdoor grill and 2 decks.
