We’d like to clarify that the additional $200 charge referenced is a refundable security deposit required by Vrbo, not an extra fee from the property. This deposit is handled directly by Vrbo and is automatically released according to their platform’s policies once the stay is completed and the unit is inspected. Standard checkout procedures do not require guests to make the bed; however, removing trash is appreciated, and we thank you for doing so. Regarding your early departure, refunds are processed in accordance with the booking terms agreed upon at the time of reservation, and leaving early does not automatically result in a partial refund. Our guest support team operates remotely and is fully trained in Vrbo’s booking system and very familiar with the property. While they are not on-site, they are available to assist guests promptly and effectively throughout their stay.
