Great stay

Great location. A short 2 minute walk to the beach. House was spacious. Dishwasher didn’t work but that wasn’t a big deal. House was clean and check in was super easy and convenient. Would definitely stay again.

This rental has a terrific location for beach lovers. It’s a quick walk to the beach. The layout of the rental was great for our party of 8. We had 5 adults and 3 children. The kitchen/living area was a large open area. The bedrooms were all a nice size. Be aware that this is truly a four floor property and there are lots of steps. It has checkout at 11:00 which was nice. I rented many places that the checkout is at 10:00. The extra hour makes it easier especially because we always travel with children and there’s lots of things to get out to the car at the end of the stay. You can also rent this for less than a week which works with our family. Unfortunately, this property has not been well maintained. It needs a major overhaul with painting and general repairs to make it be as truly exceptional as it could be. I’m aware that’s it’s a rental with lots of different people using it in a summer but the conditions are from years of usage not just a summer. Did I contact the host to complain? No because it needed a lot of attention that wouldn’t be happening during our stay. Lots of burnt out lightbulbs, missing door handles and drawer pulls and things of that nature.

Great home for large families/parties

Overall the house was ok. It is large enough for big families and the location was great. It needs some TLC and updating. Floors were very dirty. Not only do you need to bring your own linens, there was also no toilet paper or hand/dish soap.

Good location, not so much else

Property really needs some work and a DEEP clean. House really needs work done; cleaning, scrubbing, paint, carpet replacement, etc. Easy access and communication from owner. Can tell this is just an investment property, so please invest and put money back into it.

Thank you for your feedback. We close for offseason maintenance in mid October and you were our second to last renter for the season. We would have been happy to assist with a resolution for your concerns if we had been contacted during your stay. Due to being in a prime location in a resort town, we are typically booked back to back with only a few hours in between renters during the season. There will be more wear and tear later in the season right before we repaint and complete other large scale projects.

Families beware. I only even give this property one star because of its location so close to the beach. Upon taking possession of the house on Saturday morning, we found it dirty, poorly equipped, with one toilet, not working, and a queen size mattress stuffed into a full-size frame, nearly half a dozen lightbulbs were out none of the bedrooms contained a lamp mattresses in the closet terrible experience.

Second time renting

We had a pleasurable stay in 2022 and chose to rent in again for Bike week 2023. I was disappointed this year. The place is starting to look run down compared to last year and it had not been thoroughly clean prior to our arrival there was sand on the floors and even on the dining room table. Counters and bathrooms needed to be cleaned before we used them. The location and size of the rental was perfect for our needs and communication with the staff was excellent,

Great location but...

This townhouse was spacious and the location was great - can walk to some of the best bars and restaurants in OCMD. Unfortunately, the unit is in need some TLC. Light fixtures in the bathroom did not work, some lights flickered like a disco, headboards were not connected to some of the beds, the carpets on the stairs were a very dated and dingy shag, and the kitchen lacked a frying pan. The WiFi was strong and the TV's were ok. The off street garage parking was excellent and the on street parking worked out fine. The beach was a short walk and beautiful. If the owners dedicated a day or two labor and a few hundred dollars, the place would be a 10/10.
