Avec une impressionnante cheminée en pierre ornant le plafond cathédrale de la grande salle, 5 chambres (3 avec lits King, 1 pleine grandeur, 1 Queen, 3 Twins), salle familiale avec coin pour enfants, grande cuisine avec coin repas pour 10, salle à manger siÚges 10-12, TV grand écran, wifi, et bien plus, cette maison offre tout ce que vous pouvez demander dans une location de vacances.

À l'extĂ©rieur, nous avons un bain Ă  remous, un Ă©tang de baignade, une grande cabane pouvant accueillir 8 personnes ou plus, des sentiers de randonnĂ©e et de jogging, un barbecue, une table de pique-nique, un terrain de basketball et une aire de feu de camp.

Une belle plage est à quelques minutes en été et en hiver, un centre de classe mondiale de ski (Gore Mountain) est à seulement 15 minutes, ou à service complet Nordic Center à Garnet Hill pour le ski classique et patin et la raquette est à seulement 20 minutes.

The home was beautiful and perfect for a large, multi-generational family. It was great to have so many nooks and crannies to spread out in. We loved the swimming pond and made great use of it. Thanks for the nets for catch and release frogs!

This beautiful and peaceful home was well situated for our large multi generational family reunion! Host was responsive and helpful. Caretaker on site (different building) was very nice, helpful and unintrusive. Kitchen was well outfitted - we appreciated the generous amount of kid friendly but nice looking plates, etc - no breakage worries!! The swimming pond kept the kids well entertained- swimming, catching small frogs! We did it all! fire pit smores night with amazing night sky, tree house sleep out, pool table and fuze ball tournaments, and a cozy movie night or two that fit our whole family of 12 comfortably! Location of home is very accessible to fun activities in area! Thank you - Would stay again!

This was our second reservation at this house because it’s fantastic. The space is beautiful, you have everything you need, and the host and onsite caretaker are friendly, empathic, and quick to respond as needed. Highly recommend - our group of 12 will be back!

The cabin was great Plenty of sleeping capacity, and places to hang out. The caretaker was very helpful bringing extra firewood. This is our third year and we will keep coming back with our annual group ski trip

Perfect Winter Getaway!

Our family of 13 had another wonderful stay at Heron Pond. The house has everything needed for big groups to spend quality time together without feeling on top of each other. Fantastic location minutes from Gore mountain. And the hosts are super accommodating, responsive and helpful whenever needed. We’re so so grateful for finding this house and it’s wonderful owners!

Winter stay

A well appointed and clean house with lots to do. We appreciated that the owner checked to ensure all was well. It was our second time at the house and would definitely recommend. We were two families - four adults and six kids and the house was plenty big enough.

Wonderful Stay

I go on a trip with the same group of friends 2x per year and this was by far our favorite place we've been. The house and property were amazing, host communicated super well and everything went very smoothly. We are grateful to have stayed here and highly recommend!

Great time in a great house.

Clean, well maintained house with great amenities. Lots to do in area, but lots to do at the house in case outdoor activities are cancelled due to weather. Our kids adored the tree house.

Great getaway

Amazing property and excellent communication from the owner! We would definitely recommend this property for families. The kids loved hanging out around (and in!) the pond and are already asking when we can go back. It was a great week well spent relaxing and having fun adventures with family.

Very comfortable home with all the amenities

We loved this home and would happily return. It's beautifully decorated and very comfortable for large groups. It was just what we were looking for in terms of a great place to stay with two families on a ski weekend (although it could have easily accommodated more people). It was so cozy and beautiful!

This is a family-owned and run home. It is a fabulous place to bring children - a quiet location with a lot of wildlife to see. We have a large family and have many get-togethers here throughout the year. The kids love playing in the treehouse and swimming in the pond when they aren't catching frogs! In winter, we ski at nearby Gore Mountain, go sledding or step into cross-country skis and don headlamps for after-dinner expeditions through our woods.

We fell in love with this cabin and the land because it reminded us of our childhood when we played and pretended outdoors for hours on end. My favorite thing is the treehouse! I would have LOVED this as a kid! It also has space for everyone in our family to come for family reunions--and we have a big family! Our cabin is also completely private and secluded, but is still very centrally located. There is so much to do within a short drive. Even Lake George and Lake Placid make for great day trips.
