Main floor: The open-concept living room has comfortable seating, armchairs, and a smart TV. The kitchen opens to the dining area, and the washer and dryer are also on this floor.



Upstairs: The primary king bedroom has its own bathroom. Two queen bedrooms sit across the hall.



Basement: A fourth queen bedroom, a full bathroom, and an open lounge area with a sofa sleeper. There are plenty of outlets to keep everyone's devices charged.



Bathrooms: 3.5 bathrooms are spread throughout the home, so groups can get ready without waiting in line. Bathrooms have tub/shower combos, mirrored vanities, and plush towels.

The kitchen has a large counter for meal prep and is stocked with plates, cups, utensils, wine glasses, and cooking basics. Appliances include a full-size refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and dishwasher. Double sinks make cleanup quick, and the dining table seats 8.

The comforters and blankets dont get washed each time and that is disgusting. I don't want to sleep with a strangers germs on my bedding. The shower curtains had mold so we didnt give the little kids a bath. The corners and baseboards need to be cleaned.

We had a great trip to this townhouse. It was spacious and clean. Plenty of room for 5 adults. The location was very good in the Capital Hill area. Parking was a little tricky since it's all street parking, but we really didn't have too much difficulty. Our host was helpful and check-in and check-out were easy.

Perfect stay for large family

Great property for our family of 3 grown sons , a daughter in law and granddaughter. Many beds, baths and separate living space to have infant children sleep while family still gathers at night.

Perfect Family Getaway – Spacious, Comfortable, and Great Communication!

This house was comfortable, furnished well and clean. Caution, There are alot of steep steps. There is a basement bedroom and family room...we stayed in September, while the rest of the house was comfortable, it was FREEZING down there. The neighborhood seemed quiet and safe, however, it is not very close to the Metrolink station, so if you're going to want to use the Metro, you might have to scooter there.

The house was clean. The outside table and children's playhouse not so much. The cushions on the basement couch were badly stained. These are observation not complaints. There was plenty of parking and the neighbors were friendly. Speedy replies from the owner.

We GREATLY enjoyed our stay at “Capitol Hill Stay Like No Other”! There were eight adults in our group (we stayed three nights), and each person, on more than one occasion, expressed their amazement regarding how incredibly nice the house was. The property was clean and accommodating. The kitchen was very well stocked with appliances and conveniences. The décor is both beautiful and simple (and patriotic, which I, specifically, really enjoyed. It was a fun reminder of where we were and why were there.). You could tell the house was old but had been very nicely remodeled and the property had been well loved, which added to its charm and welcoming atmosphere. Every member of our group was very happily situated with their own bed and space, while the common areas were perfectly arranged for when we wanted to be together. The number of bathrooms was also a huge blessing as we were each having to get dressed for certain professional events at the same time. The only critique I would have would be that the furniture on the upper outside deck was in rougher shape than the picture on the website showed (which, I’m sure, is simply because the picture was taken when the furniture was new). However, that did not matter at all for our group because we never spent any time on the balcony. All in all, we would definitely give it a “10 out of 10” for our particular needs and very much hope to return one day! We especially want to thank Anna, our hostess, for all of her help. She was great!

55+ Active Adult Ladies-Beware of those Steps!

Well decorated, but not staircase friendly-too slippery and steep. Railing must be used. Kitchen fully complete, but could benefit with large stainless steel cooking utensils instead of rubber utensils only. The rugs were nice, but upper bedrooms rugs could benefit tapping around the edges. One senior person tripped several times entering room. Perhaps TV in each bedroom.

Extended family weekend.

Overall stay was great. The house sits on a block between bus stops so heading out for the day was easy without a long walk. Nice big corner lot with a nice yard that I’m sure my kids would have loved if it had been warmer. My family of 8 was not crowded and very comfortable. Whole house was very clean which is a huge plus for me. Only negative is no off the street parking however we were able to park on the street right across the street and our car was fine for the 4 days we were there. Also the stairs in the house are very narrow and steep as you would expect in an older house but everything else was updated and worked great. We will be returning to Washington DC at least every year, if not every 6 months in the future and I’m definitely keeping this property marked to stay at again. Hosts messaged a few times during our stay with general check in and check out information. We didn’t have any issues that required a response from them during our stay so I can’t say how responsive they are.

Clean, Friendly, Comfy

We enjoyed our stay at Capitol Hill Stay Like No Other. The check-in and check-out processes are extremely simple. The rental company is easy to work with. From when we first booked this location until checking out, we were in contact with the same person, that was plus! They were available when we needed and answered all questions we had, and also gave us heads up on anything that came about during our stay. It was 3 friends that stayed and we had way more than enough room. Our goal was for each person to have their own bedroom & bathroom and this house met that need. The beds were pretty comfortable, so that was a plus because our main focus of this trip to D.C. was tourists attractions & activities, so we were on our feet for nearly 15 hours each day, and it was nice to come back to a comfortable bed to sleep in. The house is very clean and the furniture is in great condition. We did notice that some deeper cleaning could have been completed in each bathroom, but it was not dirty by any means, just appeared some more wiping up could have been done in showers. One thing we did notice is the staircases are somewhat steep & narrow, we were not bothered by this but some individuals might not do well on them. Again, it did not affect our trip at all, but just a heads up for future visitors. We did not spend much time at the house since we were touring D.C. each day, so we can't say much about the neighborhood, but it looked well kept and friendly. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
