Just ok

The property itself was fantastic.According to an email I recieved it was ok to use the pool area after 2pm.We were there and the first cleaning lady arrived at 2 30.The second arrived at 4 15 visibly intoxicated.They iddnot leave the property till 5 40 pm.Wet clothes in the washer.The second thing was the pool.IT looked bad from the getgo.I called the number and told them that water wasn't circulating in the pool.The guy came out and fixed it albeit temporary.I called the next day and they sent someone out and it was fixed temporarily.Get a new pump.

Perfect place for an extended family stay. We easily fit our 10 and 5 more guests around a dining room table. The pool was a good size and we loved coming back from a morning at the beach, showering off outside and jumping in the pool.

House was nice, plenty of space for our group (7 adults, 4 teens, 2 dogs), could use a deep cleaning but that’s to be expected with quick/weekly turnovers. Great location, short walk to beach access and short drive to stores, restaurants, and lighthouse. Home owner was quick to respond to all my questions. Only issue was with Island Owner Services who oversee the house. Early in the week we noticed the pool pump/jets weren’t working, by Thurs the water was getting dirty/cloudy so I reached out to IOS as well as the home owner, she was as helpful as she could be but the response from IOS was delayed and contradictory. Pool guy finally showed up Saturday just before we left and said he had not been told there was an issue and he’d have come immediately if he’d known. Other than the pool issue we enjoyed our stay

Fa.mily vacation

House and location to the beach were good. Th house layout was very accomodating to our family of 10 adults The pool was very well maintained and used by all every day. Some items needed attention such as the grill which neded cleaning before use, kitchen cookie sheets were not clean in addition to some utensils The handle bars on one of the bikes were loose needing tighting for safe riding. In general everone was very pleased with our stay and would recommend this house to anyone looking for a vacation in Corolla. We would rate our stay 9 out of 10. Outherwize a 10 if those items were fixed

Close To Beach!

We were very pleased with our stay at Barefoot! One area and really the only improvement needed from the property manager/owner is in the "little things that mean a lot". I may have missed it in the description but we arrived to very little paper products (TP, Paper Towels, etc.) and no shampoo or soap for the showers. Which necessitated a return trip to the grocery store. Also, some of the beach chairs could use some updating as most were not functional after I'm sure normal wear and tear in the coastal environment. However, again those are very minor items and did not take away from our enjoyment. Still give it a 5 star stay. The pool was great and the hot tub was also very nice and it's only a 4 block walk to the Beach access.

Great Family House

We had grandma and grandpa and then two families with 2 kids each. Everyone had their own master bedroom and level of the house, which was so convenient! The bunkbed room with adjoining bathroom was awesome for the kids! The outdoor hose and shower, chairs, beach tote, toys, and extra games inside the house were all comvenient! The ice maker was a plus for such a large group! The deck could use some work but if the kids wear shoes they’ll be ok. The walk to the beach is truly so easy with the kids. It’s a tiny walk on the road and then you are on a decked sidewalk that goes straight to the beach access. That particular access point was never super crowded and we could walk right out to our spot without lugging our stuff for miles of beach. It was a great week and we would book again! It’s such a quiet neighborhood and within 5 minutes of the grocery store and a great shopping center with go carts for the kids. It’s away from the crowd without being inconvenient. If you have a dog, the backyard was spacious and very shaded by the pool. *Get the plastic dinnerware from the dinette in the movie room. We found it the last day but it would have been nice to have upstairs for the kids!

Spacious

Has plenty of room for the whole family. Even though it's 3 floors there is a very nice elevator. The property manager responded quickly. We just weren't able to get the Jack and Jill shower to work. It had a ring on the faucet you need to pull down. That was new to all of us. He handled it on the phone. there was soap at each sink and a gift bag with toilet paper , paper towels sponge. the owner is very thoughtful of there renters.

Great time in Corolla, NC

We absolutely loved this house and the amenities. The elevator was a huge plus. Three king suites and a pool also a must on our list! Proximity to the 4-wheel drive beach was 5 minutes, we love to just park our truck on the beach for the day, pet friendly. Will definitely stay here again! Had to do a bit of cleaning to kitchen and our bathroom and pool area is weathered and had some trash about but we stayed at the end of the season in Sept.

Week with family

We spent a week here with our family . There was plenty of room and the house was very nice . It was well equipped with everything you would need . The house was clean but some areas may have been missed . The outside shower and bathroom had some trash on the floors but other then that it was fine . We had a wonderful time and would definitely rent here again !

LOVED IT!!

This house absolutely fit our group perfectly! The three masters and two kids rooms with jack and Jill bathroom connecting was just perfect. We loved having the elevator for loading and unloading. Everything matched the description and we were very comfortable. The property manager was prompt and attentive to our questions and needs. The house needs a few updates and was showing some wear as far as furniture goes (we had two chairs break during our stay, and really really missed a garbage disposal and a bigger washer), but it was absolutely nothing that we couldn't look past. Thanks for a great stay!

Great multi family beach house

Amazing house, plenty of room, accommodated 6 adults and 5 kids very comfortably. All adult beds were extremely firm and uncomfortable, maybe bring a mattress topper. Grill was pretty small too.

Wonderful Property

We loved this property! The host was quick to respond and so nice to work with. We stayed here for a family reunion. House was beautiful. Very clean, and well maintained. It had the perfect amount of group gathering space, yet allowed everyone their personal space as well. The pool area was lovely and an added bonus was the hot tub! So close and convenient to the beach, and a very close drive for groceries, restaurants, and shopping.

Beautiful house

The house was beautiful. There were some cleaning issues with a beer can being left out on a deck, spoon under a bench, a pacifier under and some stuff under the one bed. Other than that the stay was lovely and we had a great time.!

Nice house

House was nice and that’s good because that’s where we stayed due to the weather. Pool looked very inviting but unseasonable weather caused us not to be able to use it. Did enjoy the hot tub though but only one area jets worked.

Family vacation

Our stay was great. We would rent this home again. The timing and property location worked perfectly for our group. The pool was very cold, and we expected it to be heated according to the description provided. We tried to contact the property manager for a few minor issues and questions and didn’t receive a call back. It didn’t get in the way of our stay and would recommend this rental.

I love Corolla and the OBX. It is one of my favorite places to visit. I love the Whalehead Beach Community with spacious homes and lots. Plenty of room for outdoor Amenities.

This property is laid out more like a home than a vacation rental with huge spacious rooms and the elevator isn't half bad. We also have a outdoor bathroom complete with toilet right off the pool area. New Timber Teck decking and railings.
