Family friendly lake home with something for everyone. Enjoy your morning coffee on the upstairs balcony while you whip up a delicious breakfast on the Blackstone. When the most important meal of the day is complete, gather on the middle deck to plan the rest of your day. Head down to the private dock for all the water activities you could imagine from fishing to kayaking and paddleboarding. Have a boat? Bring that too! Lake Decatur is perfect for tubing and wakeboarding with the launch just across the lake. When the sun goes down, you can light up the firepit and roast hot dogs and marshmallows! Or head inside for a family friendly games like Yahtzee and Uno.
Need quiet time? Snuggle up with a book from our library in front of the fireplace, or flip on the TV and catch your favorite show through Roku guest access. Maybe this is a workcation? Enjoy the view while you solve all the worlds problems. You will find something for everyone to do at our beautiful home!

Amazing!

This is our 3rd year coming back and look forward to continuing the family tradition! We love swimming all day and hanging out with the family playing games all night! Water is great and the house offers plenty of space for everyone to feel comfortable!

Beautiful location and wonderful amenities

We were very impressed right when we arrived. These guys have thought of everything. Place was clean, and just like the pictures. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need. There was plenty of room for all of us and it was nice to have two bedrooms downstairs and the master upstairs. The recreation rooms downstairs and the living area upstairs were perfect for hanging out. Big dining room for meals. We had no issues with anything and our host checked in several times during the weekend to make sure all was well. I was happy to pay for such a lovely place on the lake. We used the kayak and loved the several floors of balconies that overlooked the lake. What a beautiful place. We will definitely book this place again when we're back in town. Thank you!

From first booking the host was communicating with us about the property. They answered all my questions and they even provided a very useful guide to the property and the surrounding area!The house was spotless and every room had extra bedding. The kitchen was fully stocked and had everything we needed to prepare meals. We stayed for three nights and prepared every meal we ate in the kitchen. There were board games to use, a dart board, ring toss and a big connect 4 game. We lacked for nothing. There were internet connected tvs throughout the house that were easy to use. The view of the lake was beautiful. The back of the house had an upper deck with seating and the walk out basement had plenty of areas to relax and enjoy the views.Overall we had a great stay and would definitely book again.

Perfect lake retreat

Memorial Weekend

We had a wonderful time at the Lakeside property. All the decks with great views and plenty of seating. The inside of the house was very comfortable too. Always got an immediate response from owners when asking a question. Would love to stay again!

Comfortable, Cozy Lake Getaway

Beautiful and well-kept lake property with very friendly, helpful owners. Perfect location if you’re looking for a relaxing, low-key lake environment to share with friends and family. Close to stores, restaurants, and regional attractions. Interior is large but intimate, so people can have their own space without feeling isolated. Nice place to vacation for a few days!

Awesome lake house

This place is exceptional! The owners are very accessible, thoughtful and helpful. Cooking Thanksgiving dinner was a pleasure in their kitchen! Eating together at the beautiful dining room table was perfect. Plenty of games, puzzles, books and televisions provide fun entertainment and relaxation. We hope to return!

So peaceful and relaxing

Pictures definitely don’t do this air b&b justice. Everything is so beautiful and well taken care of. Beautifully decorated. Then walk outside to the amazing few of the water on 3 different decks all with plenty on seating. We will definitely be staying here again. Love this place

Exceptional Home

This is our second time staying at this house. We had a wonderful weekend. The house was spotless when we arrived. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need to cook with. We also enjoyed both of the outdoor grills. We spent most of the weekend outside. The deck and kayaks were put to good use.

We have always spent time on the water. From a young age tubing on Grandpa's boat, then traveling as adults to experience the amazing lakes and rivers of IL, MI, WI, etc. with friends and family. We've always wanted our own happy place that was close enough to drive, but far enough for a true get away.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

As the house sits up on a bluff, the views could keep one entertained for hours. The Eagles, Woodpeckers, Hummingbirds, (and lots more) are beautiful to watch, and even late summer, migrating pelicans pay this beautiful lake a visit! When we arrive and walk out onto the deck, we are immediately on "lake time". The sunrise is spectacular and the sunsets are even better. Being 3 hours from major metro areas like Chicago, Indianapolis and St Louis, this is the perfect location to get away from it all.
