Large fully furnished,centrally located northern Minnesota retreat .

This large home is nestled on 162 acres of private property.Large enough to accommodate bigger groups but cozy enough for smaller groups as well,, Lots of parking for 4 wheelers, boats , snowmobiles, trailers etc,, centrally located to several lakes, 4 wheeler trails, the mesabi bike trail, fortune bay and giants ridge. Come home from a long day of skiing, fishing ,, or riding the trails ,, and enjoy the fireplace , sauna , pool table or ping pong.. we also have 2 outdoor fire pits for a relaxing evening outdoors looking at the stars or the northern lights! Do you just want to relax on the property?? ,, we also have hiking trails and cross country ski trails on the property.Bird feeders are always full and a chance to see the local wildlife is always fun.
kitchen is fully stocked,, bathrooms are fully stocked ,, beds are comfortable,, Really a Great find in northern Minnesota!!

The house was very well furnished with everything that you would need. The house had two nice living rooms for social time. The Blackstone and grill were a nice touch. Then a very peaceful location. We really enjoyed the stay!

The home was AMAZING in every single way. The hosts created such a beautiful space - with more than anyone could hope for. They had baby stuff, a pack and play, fishing gear, and dropped off an extra pair of snow pants for us on the fly! It has a lot of space, so you can spread out without feeling on top of each other. Our son LOVED the sauna. Definitely coming back again!

Nice place to relax after long days of fishing.

We came up to go ice fishing on Lake Vermillion and needed a place to stay that wasn't too far away. Lowell and Nancy have a beautiful home tucked in the pines with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Highly recommend!

Cozy, clean, & relaxing

LOVED our stay at this beautiful property in Embarrass. The hosts were friendly & so helpful with making sure we had what we needed for our stay. The house was clean and well-kept, everything was labeled and easy to find, and we were able to enjoy some MN nature through the extensive trails on the property. Other highlights: the ping-pong table/pool table, the sauna, and the expansive bedroom with en suite bathroom. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others who are in the area!

A beautiful place in northern Minnesota

We came for a golf tournament with our spouses. Men golfed and the ladies shopped in Ely and Tower. Beautifully located for us to go separate ways and come back together in the evening!

Golf weekend

The VRBO was perfect for our stay for our annual golf weekend! 4 bedrooms and 3 baths was perfect for 4 men! It was really nice that the coffee was provided along with some cookies for our sweet tooth! Place is very quiet! Unfortunately Minnesota’s state bird(mosquito) was too active to enjoy the outside fire pit area! (Not onky at the VRBO property but also on the golf courses we played). Wi-Fi was very good!

Giant’s Ridge/Wilderness Golf Trip

Very clean, quiet and no unpleasant surprises. A very nice touch was the Kurieg stocked with a variety of K-cups and the Grandma’s cookies. The pool table was an added bonus for 4 golfers that got rained out one day. Overall, we had an excellent stay.
