Buffalo Cabin is a charming log cabin located within easy walking distance of historic downtown Cody. Featuring a wraparound porch- a perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of Western adventure! This authentic log cabin makes the perfect family retreat, a peaceful haven after a day of exploration with all Cody and the surrounding area have to offer.
Inside, the cabin is cozy and welcoming. The living room has comfortable leather seating, a television and games to enjoy. The cheerful kitchen has the amenities to easily prepare and enjoy meals together. The eat in kitchen has a dining table to gather round. A newly addred washer and dryer add to the convience of the cabin. Bedroom 1 has a queen size bed. The bed has recently been upgraded and is adjustable with massage feature. Bedroom 2 offers 2 twin beds. The bright bathroom has a tub/shower and built in storage space. The cabin sits on a corner lot so there is plenty of outdoor space to enjoy. Sit on the wraparound porch with your favorite beverage or cook a meal on the gas grill.
*Please note: cats are not permitted at this property.

*Disclaimer: This property does not have AC. At night temperatures drop to the 55 or 60 degrees and low to no humidity, opening windows at night cools the property down and lets in the fresh mountain air!

The cabin was very nice. The porch was one of our favorite amenities. We were worried about the size, but it turned out to be all we needed. There are 4 of us traveling, and all of us would recommend it.

This property was perfect for us and a good value great location, walking distance to downtown. It didn't affect our stay but vines are taking over the house on two sides and need to be cut back. Air conditioning would have been a major plus but windows open and fans running made it tolerable.

Cody Cabin

That was the perfect spot for ourselves. We seek out rustic style cabins because it definitely takes you back in time when life was tough and real. It’s an easy walk to the main areas of Cody. The Cody steakhouse is excellent by the way. The area is quit quite and everyone around are incredibly friendly.

So nice

As we drove around Cody, we saw many rental properties that probably look great in photos, but the locations were awful. This home (really much more than a cabin) is located in a quiet neighborhood easily walkable to all the cool places you want to go, but not right on top of a Walmart or the highway.

Perfect location!

The Buffalo Cabin is so cute, and it ha a great location. Far enough off the main drag that the street is not busy, but close enough to be convenient.

My husband and I stayed in the Buffalo Cabin for 4 nights. The house was perfect for us; clean, well stocked kitchen, great front porch for morning coffee and nighttime wine. Walking distance to restaurants and shops, one hour beautiful / easy drive to Yellowstone. Very close drive to the Cody Stampede Rodeo.

Cozy cabin in Cody

We were so comfortable at buffalo cabin.Our host thought of every amenity possible.The neighborhood was friendly and we felt so safe .We would totally recommend to anyone!

We don’t buy gifts any longer, we buy experiences or adventures. We have been to Cody a few times and dearly love it! We came for Christmas and to look for properties or a house to purchase.Very nice property, clean, easy to find, very close to town. I highly recommend.
