Welcome to Downtown Cabin! This charming, recently renovated home is located just a few short drive from historic downtown Cody, Wyoming! In Cody, you will find local restaurants, coffee shops, breweries, and shops. This home is also walking distance to a great local park with a wheelchair accessible playground, a splash pad, picnic tables and tons of green space.

The bright, clean house offers a fully equipped kitchen with an eat up bar and opening dining area. The laundry room with a washer and dryer is located off the kitchen. The bedroom offers a queen bed with cozy linens and the attached bathroom has a tub/shower combo. The main living space is comfortable with a sofa sleeper for additional guests and TV to relax and hang out with your family. Downtown Cabin is pet friendly with an enclosed dog run for your 4-legged friends!

This was our 2nd stay at the Downtown Cabin. Everything was in great working order and perfect for our stay.

The cabin was perfect for our needs. The fenced yard worked well for our dog and the kitchen had was stocked with just the right equipment for the little bit of cooking we did do.

We spent a week in this little house and it was great for our purposes. It was very clean. It is great to have a full kitchen with enough pots, pans and utensils to do a little cooking. I liked having the outdoor grill too!

Sweet little house. Convenient for our Yellowstone visit. We chose Downtown Cabin for its location, cost, and being pet friendly for our two poodles. Great communication from host outlining details and nearby attractions. Close up parking right by front door. Highly recommended

A small but very adequate house that was extremely clean and handy to access to local sites. The house handbook that they send before you check-in is very helpful. It tells about the property, location, placesto eat, things to do and procedure for check-in and check out. Very thorough.Owners do a great job of communicating.

Stay in Cody Wyoming

This was a very comfortable house close to everything in the town of Cody. We truly enjoyed our stay here and it was nice having the fenced yard for the dog to run around in. The bed was comfy and the place had everything we needed and more. Would highly recommend it.

The home was clean,the bed squeaked every time we moved,so we put a pillow behind the headboard and the wall,this helped.The bathtub was hard to climb into,as it was so high.The doors could use some wd40.

Everything was awesome! The only thing missing was a large knife to cut our pizza and maybe some salt and pepper in the cupboard would've been great.. The dog run was amazing and very much appreciated.

Cody Small House

The house was nice and layout was well done. The introductory letter said most properties had well stocked kitchens; this one had no staples other than paper towels and garbage bags. Not a problem as long as we know because we prefer to bring our own. The floors could have been cleaner. The yard was not mowed and was full of weeds. We truly enjoyed our stay but it would have been even better if these things were corrected. The lawn maintenance company was there to spray the weeds the morning we left.

Private! Clean! Comfort!

I enjoyed my stay! Came into a quiet neighborhood and settled in without having to do any check in process. The door had a code so I was able to enter at the time, which was amazing since I had driven approx 10 hours to get there! Great pricing on the unit! I was even able to bring my dog to keep me company. Highly recommended if your in the area.

Cody Visit

The property was as advertised. Just the right size. In a quiet location. Everything was perfect for us and our dog Bradley. He really enjoyed the fenced in area. The rental was just a short drive from downtown, the museums, and some great restaurants. The only issue was locating the driveway in the dark. I think that some reflecting poles on either side of the driveway would be helpful. We will definitely book this house again when we return to Cody for another visit.

Decent property but issues during stay

The property is good size for a couple wanting to enjoy the Cody area, and it being one of the few dog friendly VRBOs available in Cody during our desired dates was nice. The hosts were nice and responsive to the issues we had, but ultimately those issues had us prefer to leave a day before our scheduled checkout date. Every morning the backdoor concrete slab and surrounding rock area was covered in hundreds of ants. This is where the dogs could be let out into the fenced in area (very nice to have). As the day would warm up the ants would go back underground but it made taking the dogs out in the morning hell and resulted in a fair amount of ants getting inside, either under the door or attached to our shoes or our dogs. The second issue was the water heater going out mid-stay. While the host was very responsive (even offering to pay for us to shower at the nearby rec center) and got a tech onsite to fix the issue, the tech mentioned there were known issues with the water heater at this property and they've been there to fix it before. Knowing that service tech appointments are currently 2-3 weeks out in Cody, getting someone there the same day was incredible but it would have been preferred for the issue to have been properly fixed originally so we didn't run into it. All in all we were generally satisfied with our stay, but with the things we dealt with it was best for us to leave a day early and not deal with the ants in the morning.
