It is a wonderful place peaceful beautiful way up the mountain. We did have problem finding the place vrbo had the wrong address but the host helped us find our way.

This cabin is exactly what you want if you want to get away from the everyday hustle and bustle. Up in the woods, all you hear is nature. We had an amazing time.

This cabin is super cute, clean, and pet friendly. The bed we slept in was comfortable and the sheets were dreamy soft. We were very pleased with everything. We spent alot of time on the screened in porch just enjoying the quiet...we are hoping to make a return trip.

If you want peace and quite, to just get away from it all, I highly recommend this stay. It has a the comforts of home with none of the noise and lights. It was good to see so many stars at night, I had forgotten how beautiful they are. I was far enough away and yet close enough if needed, from the daily grinned. If I had to put all this in just one word, it would be, Wonderful !

Rosie Joy loved the gazebo.
The wonderful bear decor gave us great black bear mojo and we saw 7 bears in nearby Cades Cove.

Beautiful cabin getaway, and perfectly secluded without being too far away from town! We spent many relaxing moments on the porch and the swing in the gazebo. I would recommend this stay to anyone!

very private.owner very responsive when we lost power after rain & wind storm caused tree damage in local area sending help to make sure we were ok power restored quickly. Saw too many deer to count, especially on rides in and out of Cowee Valley . Watched squirrels scampering in the trees from the screened porch. Even though we didn’t bring our dogs there were treats for them. Enjoyed our 30 day stay even though the weather was unusually wet , Franklin offered brew pubs, live concerts, singing on the square and antique shopping and there were even events at nearby Cowee school. Picked beautiful flowers. even peonies at Mitchells produce stand in nearby Oak Grove community along with fabulous corn tomatoes and peaches.It was a memorable month!

ME AND MY WIFE LOVED THE CABIN IT WAS QUITE AND THE VIEWS WERE WONDERFUL...IF YOU LIKE BEING SECLUDED BUT STILL CLOSE TO PLACES TO GET SUPPLIES AND SHOP THEN THIS PLACE IS FOR YOU IT IS UP ON THE MOUNTAIN AND VERY PRIVATE IN MY OPINION.. THE DRIVEWAY GOING UP IS KINDA STEEP IN SOME PLACES I DON'T KNOW HOW A SMALL FRONT WHEEL DRIVE CAR WOULD DO BUT AWD CAR OR A TRUCK CAN GO UP WITH NO PROBLEMS I GOT A CREW CAB Z71 AND DIDN'T HAVE AN ISSUE BUT WHEN YOUR GOING FOR MOUNTAIN LIVING FOR A BIT THEN YOU DON'T EXPECT A PAVED DRIVEWAY..THE PLACE WAS CLEAN AND HAD EVERYTHING YOU NEEDED..TO BE HONEST ME AND MY WIFE WERE WISHING WE OWNED THE PLACE BECAUSE IT IS THE PERFECT GETAWAY FROM EVERYDAY LIFE YOU CAN SIT AND RELAX ON PORCH WITH COFFEE AND ENJOY THE VIEW OF THE MOUNTAINS ACROSS FROM YOU..WE WILL BE GOING BACK FOR SURE..HOPING TO GO BACK WHEN THERE IS SNOW ON THE GROUND..THE HOST IS VERY RESPONSIVE AND HELPFUL WITH ANYTHING YOU NEED..THANKS FOR SHARING YOUR WONDERFUL CABIN WITH US..
