This home is in a quiet neighborhood, a short drive from downtown Salado. Perfect for a weekend get-a-way to spend time shopping, dining, playing golf and walking by the creek. Drink your morning coffee on the front porch, watch the birds and deer. The evenings provide a large view of the night sky and stars. Service dogs are welcome, however there is a 2 pet limit.

We really enjoyed our stay at the charming house.The neighborhood was very quiet and the front porch was perfect for watching the birds at the feeders. The host was friendly and helpful.

This was a VERY charming home. It was definitely a home away from home. My family and I had a comfortable stay. My infant grandson slept all night as if he were home. Will stay again and recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

Came to town for an annual girls’ trip. The house was amazing and beds were sooooo comfortable. Sat on the porch one evening and saw FIREFLIES!! It was so special because we hadn’t seen any in years! Would definitely recommend staying here! Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Beautiful home in a beautiful neighborhood!

Statues for the weekend for the Salado Scottish Festival. The home was nice and quaint and just a few minutes from downtown Salado. Really enjoyed my stay!

The kitchen was well stocked and roomy enough for multiple people to cook and hang out. The neighborhood was quiet. We saw dear, and my dog had a great time enjoying the front porch. We made use of the first-aid kit provided. There were matches for the outdoor chimeneya but nothing to strike them with, though we did find a lighter in a kitchen drawer.

Perfect for us

Property was cozy and home-like, including a well equipped kitchen and interesting books and games. We were in the area for thanksgiving with more family and cooked a few dushes...kitchen had everything, even measuring cups and spoons!!! 5 adults and one dog were quite comfortable and plenty of space to not feel crowded. Host was responsive and helpful! Thank you!

Nice and quiet

We enjoyed our stay. The place was neat and clean and because it was out from town a bit it was very quiet and private. I would add that the beds are a little high so if you're older or have mobility limitations, this might be an issue for you to consider. The kitchen table was a perfect place for us to play games and eat meals. We only had 2 cars, but the driveway could easily hold 3 cars if you've got a larger group. Overall, thoroughly enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend it to others.

I am a retired teacher of 31 years. Happily married with 3 grown children. I live anything outdoors and water related! I was born in the 60’s and experienced the best decade the 80’s. I graduated from UMHB and was a Kilgore Rangerette.

The neighborhood is older with a small community. The houses are spaced out often with 1-3 empty lots. This provides a lot of privacy. There are plenty of deer and birds that wander the property. Because there are no streetlights, the evening sky is free of light pollution and if clear you can see every constellation!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

The house has a large porch to enjoy morning coffee. It is close enough to town yet away from the crowds on the weekends. There is plenty of area to park a trailer with ATV’s or a boat
