Relaxing time with family

Other than location being close to busy highway, this was perfect home. Homeowner thought of and provided everything that was needed. Home was clean and overall in good maintenance condition. Town of Corolla was close and will definitely stay here again.

More than we expected

Beautiful clean home! All the extras were a complete surprise that include plenty of beach chairs, pool accessories, bikes, etc. Our family had a wonderful time, despite being evacuated early due to Hurricane Dorian. We will return next year and years to come!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a great place. We have a family of nine and its a perfect size for us. We have stayed here many times. It has everything we need for the beach. Kitchen is well stocked. Apparently they switched cleaners this year and I do not feel like they do as good of a job as the last cleaner. She was great! The sheets provided are very thin and do not fit the beds properly. The deck boards are a bit splintered so you need to use caution if barefoot We stay with our dogs so it would be great if back yard was fenced but we make it work. Great location. All things considered We love it here!

The home is fully equipped with everything you need to cook for a large family, to go to the beach, to spend a lazy day at the private pool and jacuzzi. The beach is a block away, but we drove to the 4wd beach where we got to see lots of wild horses! We look forward to returning!

My family enjoyed the house, pool, hot tub and location. The home was clean and in good condition. The extras in the garage are fantastic and a big addition to our fun and ease on the beach. The only complaint I would have is the condition of the mattress in the front bedroom king size bed. It was like sleeping ins a black hole that draws everyone and everything to the center of the bed. I would recommend replacing that mattress. It's a health risk! Thank you again. Hope to see you next year.

Thank you for your review. We are happy to report the owners have replaced the king room (facing poolside) mattress. The other king bedroom the owners put a brand new mattress 4inch foam cold topper on.

Family vacay

This house needs a lot of updating. The kitchen appliances, the cabinets and countertops and the living room furniture. The furniture is very worn and dirty. For the money we paid I was disappointed. That being said, the outside amenities were nice. Everyone loved the hot tub and the pool area despite the water in the pool being freezing cold. The kids didn’t seem to mind it. The kids also loved the swings under the house. The walk to the beach wasn’t far and there is a ton of things to use even a rolling cooler. However, in its present condition, I would not recommend it to anyone.

Party poopers stay home...all about fun!

Reviewer Comments: This was our first vacation without the head of our family who passed away a year ago. I think it was something we needed and my husband would have loved it. My children and I all brought a friend and there were ten of us. We loved the game room, the pool and hot tub, and the beach. The home was clean (there were some flies, but that's to be expected) and well stocked. Charis, bikes, baby equipment (which we didn't need), pool toys, coolers, and beach wagons. My only suggestions would be to update some of the items such as the bikes, cornhole boards, volleyball net, etc. We had a blast and you will too!

Diamond in the rough week

We had a rough week but were able to make the best of it with the sand castle. We had a death in the family days before leaving so had to travel back to PA and back to OBX right in the middle of the trip. The house was not ready on time at check-in but the cleaners were super gracious and sweet and we just sat by the pool while they took care of business; totally understandable and they did not skimp on the cleaning to rush us in so we appreciated the detail. The pool was great, the walk to the beach was not bad. We got on the road early at check-out; my only suggestion here would be to put the instructions in writing. During pick-up, they verbally told me while picking up the keys that I could drop them at the office in Duck, but then the paperwork in writing bold on the bottom says to drop them off at the office in Kitty Hawk. I work contracts - in writing will always take precedence over verbal. The checkout sheet should be changed to reflect the proper address desired. It was a slight inconvenience to head away from home but nothing to complain about, I'm sure more of one for the office since they had to get the keys in Kitty Hawk but again, the written instruction wins. Overall, we made the best of a sad week; we got in some tubing and a horse tour. The kids had a ball, especially with the pool. Thanks!

OB vacay 2024

This is our families 3rd year here and all of us just love it! My only complaint is with the property management Co. When we were loading to come home we left 2 bag chairs in garage, The homeowner has so many chairs we did not need to use ours. We took them out of car so we had room to move around the OB with all the family and forgot to load them. I called the rental company the next day to ask about our chairs and they said they had not received any missing chairs. However I know that they are there . I am not really sure that the management Co. follows up on these things. But again the house/property is wonderful!

The games downstairs were a hit on the rainy day during our week at the house, along with being a fun place to hang out. Everything worked well! There was plenty of space for our family. The wifi worked well. The walk to the beach wasn't far. Fun fact: there is a little library next to one of the neighborhood access points to the beach that had some great books. All in all, we would definitely stay here again!

Great week with the family

The property and location were fantastic. The place had plenty of room for us all and it never felt cramped. The pool was clean and warm. Plenty of fun in the game room. We will be back next year !

Great house

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house and pool were great. The game room and beach supplies were so much more than we expected but the walk to the beach was a little further than expected.

Nice house walking distance to beach

Very nice house well equipped with most everything you need from dishes to beach toys, house is walking distance to the beach. Would stay here again
