Wonderful Stay at Villas de Santa Fe
My husband and I and a friend stayed at Villas de Santa Fe and had a wonderful time. The rooms are clean, well laid out, with plenty of room. The location is a short walk to the center of Santa Fe and a short drive to a supermarket and shopping mall. A beautiful location and wonderful staff.

Not Really "By Owner"
I thought this would be a condo at an upscale complex (I certainly would not use the term "resort" even if they do) but I think it's just a hotel? I never did figure it out completely. They play a game with the additional charges (including a daily resort fee) and deposits and stuff so it's almost impossible to determine if they're charging the rate you agreed to when you booked. Not sure what resort amenities there are besides a pool, spa (separated in 2 different buildings, btw) and a basic coffee bar. Parking is limited and claustrophobic. The entire staff was incredibly friendly but I didn't feel good about the way we were billed and charged. Very comfy accommodations with a neat fireplace, but nearby street is busy 24/7 and the older windows don't do much to buffer that so, if you're used to quiet, you're likely to wake up a lot due to traffic based on which building you're in (bldg 2 is further away from the major street.) Not the hotel's fault, but something to note. The shower head didn't have a lot of water pressure so it was hard to get conditioner out of my hair. I think it's supposed to be a rainfall simulator and just wasn't mounted correctly? I really liked the bed and pillows and the bathroom had a sit down vanity area that was very convenient. The little kitchenette had a great table that was big enough to spread out our hiking maps so that was much appreciated. The room was one of the cleanest I've stayed in and that was very appreciated as well.

Weekend in Santa Fe - April 2023
Location is perfect, slightly out of the fray in a quiet, peaceful part of town. Very easy walk to historic downtown and Railyard businesses. Stay was pleasant with some recommendations- carpet was terribly stained and old, stains on lamp shades in living and bedroom. Couch is clearly old with fading. Simple updating goes along way. The hot tub needs resurfacing and pump maintenance(didn’t work well at all - we have one so understand how they work). Pool was surprisingly warm so nice alternative. Really great property but needs some updating. Communication was great and all the staff are so pleasant and helpful. Price point was good for what you get.

Everything was great. Check in was easy and the place was really nice. Others have getting into the location is difficult but it didn’t seem anymore difficult than any other location around the downtown area.

This place is close to historic downtown Santa Fe where there are art galleries, museums, fine dining, and the town square with local programs. The room was comfortable and suited our needs. The ramp to get the luggage cart down to the building was cumbersome and had three turns but was manageable. The kitchen was not well lit and the door swing on the refrigerator should have been reversed. But the comfy bed, furniture, and cozy fireplace made up for the shortcomings. We enjoyed our stay and all Santa Fe has to offer so much that we extended our stay an extra day.

Nice facility. Kinda hard to get across streets. Didn’t like the added “resort fee” dropped on us later in the process. Nice pool but hot tub out of commission. Very nice king deluxe suite. We always stay at Hotel Santa Fe…so this was a good second choice.

Cute and clean with the essentials
The property is clean and provides moat needed amenities. It is close the the plaza and to grocery ans shopping. The "resort" pool is very small and constantly has things floating in it. The hot tub was discolored so we did not partake. The fitness area is great and the library/study is nice. Having laundry available at no charge and a basket in the room is a great addition. Staff was attentive and responsive. Since there is a daily reaort fee, I would like to see more amenities, but overall we would return.

Great value and location
This is a perfect affordable location when staying in Santa Fe if you want to be walking distance to the Plaza. The only thing I noticed that needed to be changed/fixed was that the bottom of the shower liner had a LOT of mildew/mold growing on it. Otherwise, the stay was fabulous and I will definitely book a stay here again in the future.

You had me at the salt and pepper!
My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Our needs were met, down to the small detail of salt and pepper being provided! The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, the fully stocked kitchen was appreciated. It was nice to do a load of laundry while enjoying a cappucino in the lobby by the fireplace, while my son enjoyed a game of pool. We felt very welcome. All of the staff was so friendly and responsive.

Great stay
One night stay. Kitchen had all we needed to make a nice dinner. Check-in process was confusing when I received a message outside of vrbo app to my personal email requesting a copy of my photo ID to be emailed to another company. I really dislike sending information like thar through email. Also, the $28 resort fee seems excessive. Other than these two things, our stay was great, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and front desk check in was smooth and they were kind.

Nice place, convenient location
We enjoyed our stay at the Villas, especially the gas fireplace in the LR, and the free espresso machine in the lobby. Only problem we had was a lack of hot water on Saturday evening (surprising for a development of this size), other than that a very nice stay.

Satisfactory but not impressed.
We were placed in a room that was set up great for someone in a wheelchair, but it made bathroom privacy difficult for sharing with 3 individuals. The room was not supplied with bed linens, front desk did not initially have the code to the linen closet, and then the linen closet was empty. Luckily there was still housekeeping staff who located some wrinkled but apparently clean sheets. However, it took them two trips because he did not bring a full set initially. We had a plumbing problem, which was not immediately addressed. We did not expect to be treated like royalty, but it would have been nice to have been asked more about our stay, and to receive apologies for inconveniences.
