Great lodge for a large group! It was very clean overall, had enough beds for everyone, and the kitchen and bathrooms were well-maintained. The location is super convenient, close to the resort and lots of attractions, with plenty of parking. The surroundings were peaceful and the view was decent. Our only minor feedback is to upgrade the lighting in the basement (pool table area) so the space is more usable, and maybe give the blankets an extra wash (though that might just be us being overly particular!). Otherwise, a very comfortable and highly recommended stay! Thank you Kevin!

This beautiful home is a great place to stay in the area. Conveniently located to many attractions, restaurants, and shopping in the area. The kitchen is well-equipped for a rental. The pool table is a little cramped but it is still fun! Communication with and response from the owners was excellent and responsive. My only complaint is that I needed to sweep the kitchen and couldn’t locate a broom.

The house was perfect for our extended family ski trip. Host was timely with check in instructions. Would recommend these accommodations for any large family trip to Massanutten.

The house is in a great location and has good bones. We appreciated the ample parking and being able to sleep 13. That being said, this house has seen better days, and could use updates. The refrigerator is definitely one area in need of improvement. We brought in food for 4 1/2 days for 13 people to a refrigerator that had no door shelving and an ice maker that didn’t make ice except for when the freezer was emptied. Adding some more seating would be great as the couches only accommodate 5 people, and there is no seating at all downstairs - fortunately, we had brought camp chairs and used them. The hot water was sufficient if you were not using the dishwasher, and the plumbing was very good.The HVAC was great and kept the house comfortable. The screened porch was a great place to hang out and it was nice not having steep stairs at the entryway. We would definitely consider this house again if these improvements were made.

We really enjoyed our get way weekend. We just got a little incidence while we leaving due to the storm but overall The kids are loved to stay there again. And it will be great if you provide a small hitter for the basements for the winter season because it really cold downstairs.

Everything was great with the stay. However, my one complaint is the hot water system. Not everyone could get a hot shower after a day on the slopes and we had to split up times with some taking before we went out to dinner and others taking after dinner. Otherwise, everything was great!

The views from this five-bedroom home (plus loft) were absolutely fantastic — easily the highlight of the stay. There was plenty of space for everyone, and the layout worked well for a larger group. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could think of (and even a few extras), which came in especially handy for preparing Thanksgiving dinner.Overall, it was a solid rental for the price and made for a comfortable, enjoyable stay. We would definitely consider staying here again.

annual family ski trip
