Description: Merveilleuse maison neuve construite sur mesure avec grande terrasse donnant sur un port protégé et une île privée. La maison principale dispose de quatre chambres avec lits queen, trois salles de bains, et un grand salon / salle à manger avec un piano. La cuisine complète possède un bar et un coin salon avec un canapé et une terrasse extérieure. Il ya aussi un poêle à travailler le bois idéal pour printemps et l'automne visiteurs. La maison a une grande ponts avant et arrière avec une vue imprenable. La maison est construite sur une pente de façon lorsque votre assis sur le pont vous vous sentez comme vous êtes dans assis dans le ciel surplombant le magnifique territoire protégé.

Un environnement extrêmement calme, à la fin d'un long trajet en voiture. Vous aurez accès à un quai de mettre en kayak ou en canot. La région est idéale pour barboter autour et à explorer. Il ya deux petites îles à visiter pour un pique-nique ou une baignade, une colonie de phoques à regarder (s'il vous plaît essayer de respecter leur espace et rester en arrière de 150 pieds) et si votre chance pygargues à tête blanche et Opreys nidification et de chasse dans la région. La faune abonde avec des aigles, des balbuzards pêcheurs, des sternes, des huards, les cormorans et le marsouin occasionnelle sur l'eau et les lapins, cerfs et de temps en temps le porc-épic ou un renard visiter la propriété. Ce côté de Mount Desert est souvent ensoleillé lorsque d'autres parties sont le brouillard lié. L'eau est plus chaude et plus calme ici. Parfait pour les kayaks et canoës.

This gorgeous home nestled in the woods with spectacular views of the water was one of the nicest homes I have stayed in. We had 5 adults who spent 4 nights there while we explored the area. It was so peaceful and comfortable, and spotless! We loved it.

Serene ocean views and spacious comfort.

Much to like about this property but especially loved the large living room opening onto the screened-in covered deck with stunning ocean views. The bedrooms also have this wonderful view. The property was well cared for and and we wanted for nothing except perhaps a few more days of the tranquility this property provided.

Beautiful and comfortable

I stayed for a week with my family and dog. The house is beautiful and we loved the secluded location overlooking the water. We were very comfortable during our stay and we would love to come back again.

Our stay was spectacular, great location and very stunning views. You could see and hear the seals on the little islands, so if you like wildlife, you'll be excited. It was very peaceful,relaxing and away from everything.

This is a fabulous property! Spacious - views from every window! We loved it. Have stayed twice and will stay again if the opportunity arises. This house was very well stocked. Anything you might need. Plenty of dishes, cooking utensils, glasses, silverware etc. I truly can't praise it highly enough!

Maine Sunsets

This is a beautiful home with spectacular views of sunsets over the the peak of the Blue Hill past the small islands inhabited by harbor seals. I chose this VRBO for the views from the bedrooms so we could wake up to see the bay over the forest's treetops. However, the house is lovely, comfortable and full of treasures to make you enjoy coming home after our Acadia excursions.

Another magical stay

This house and location is superb. It’s well outfitted, absolutely stunning view of the ocean, eagles, seals, and other birds visible from the porch. The dock, accessed via a long set of steep steps though a gorgeous forest, is wonderful. It’s quiet and peaceful. Communication with property manager, Susan, was professional and timely as usual.

Fabulous Home for Relaxation, Great Location for Touring

Spacious home with gorgeous views! The screened in deck became our prime living area, any time of the day or night. Sunsets were amazing! The home was beautifully appointed and well maintained; the hosts were available if needed. An added bonus was a morning visit from the hosts' two wonderful dogs ~ they made us feel right at home! The location was excellent, close enough to the main areas for touring, but far from the crowds. An excellent experience all the way around!

Wonderful MDI waterfront cottage

My wife & I along with our youngest son (16), our corgi Stuart and my wife's parents spent a great week at this wonderful well equiped cottage. The setting was perfect on the quiet side of MDI. Beautiful waterfront location with great sunsets. An amazing screened back porch was perfect for watching the ocean and sunsets. A large group of harbor seals was always in view. My father in law uses a walker and had perfect ramp access into the house with a great first floor bedroom and easy access to living area and back porch which was fantastic. The house itself was immaculate and had great amenities. We have traveled to MDI yearly for the last 30 yrs and feel this home has been the best to date! Can' t wait to return!

A spacious comfortable well appointed high ceilinged home w quaint accessories that suited our 3 gen grown family perfectly. So much space w attention to the views. Also is well planned for the fur babies with a convenient fenced in yard. Workable kitchen. Definitely quiet side. Upscale not the usual tired rental! Eagles at treetop eye level. Birdsong in the forrest. Great sunsets. The only flaw is the multiple staircased steep trek to the water’s edge which is unrealistic unless you train on a stair-master which disappoints but an amazing overall very rare find! A gem!

It’s hard to come up with the right superlatives for how wonderful this home is. The location with a fabulous view of the water could not be better. We saw eagles everyday. The walk down to the dock is steep but lovely and the dock itself is a gorgeous place to hang out. The art, furnishings, and completeness of the kitchen just make it even more of a gem. Susan, the property manager is always very responsive on the rare occasion we have a question. We love, love, love this place!

A perfect getaway with heavenly views.

The pictures and descriptions of this house do not do it justice. The home is nicely spread out for a large group , with well appointed rooms and comfortable beds. The stunning views and outside screened in porch are the highlights and definitely warrant a repeat visit. Our group enjoyed watching the seals close by and the ospreys fishing. The walk down to the dock is little physical but offer great access to the water. The dog run for the house is very convenient for those bringing their pets. WiFi is a little spotty but not a deal breaker. The house also has a large array of books which our group had fun reading perusing the collection. Would absolutely come back.

Such a View!

Our group was composed of 2 parents, 2 adult children, and their spouses. We travel together often and have specific needs and desires in a place to stay. This beautiful home near Bar Harbor and Acadia N.P met all of our requirements! We felt as though we were at home. We loved the screened-in porch and the spotting scope. We all enjoy cooking and the spacious kitchen provided room for all of us. We are hikers and the proximity to Acadia made our treks easy. Strolling through the streets of Bar Harbor, we visited several restaurants/pubs and were served delicious food. After a day of hiking, the home provided the perfect place to unwind and sleep. This trip was an outstanding vacation.!

Beautiful Home with amazing water views!

What a wonderful vacation home! The house itself is so beautiful and well decorated. The pictures don’t do it justice at all! It is by far the most well stocked rental home we have ever stayed in! Every detail was so well thought out….even details we didn’t know we needed! We ended up spending more time at the house than we planned on because it was so nice! The views of the water from the home are incredible. We loved relaxing on the big back screened in deck watching the seals lounging on the islands off the coast with the telescope. We walked down the steep path (combo of stairs and a rope railing) to the dock to catch the sunsets…my daughter did yoga and my son and husband fished from the dock. It was so dog friendly and the owner was very responsive any time I reached out. It was so quiet, peaceful and serene! Highly recommend to anyone that wants room to spread out and prefers the quieter side of the island with an easy drive to Bar Harbor or anywhere on the island. The home had lots of puzzles, games and books to stay busy on a rainy day! I hope to rent this home again!

Wow!

The house is obviously cared for with pride and love with attention to detail. It was sparkling clean and gracious and comfortable. The screened porch provided space to eat or watch a beautiful sunset over the water and listen to birds and sea lions, or take a nap or read a book, and was spacious enough for several people and activities at the same time. 3 Bedrooms each had a bathroom and spectacular views and screened windows. Outside was very private and even had a fenced area for the dog. Kitchen was generously stocked. Laundry inside upstairs easy and convenient for kids clothes and linens. Everything worked well. Only things we needed to supplement were shampoo and soap in the bathrooms. I would give it 10 stars but am limited to 5.

Unpleasant end to an otherwise enjoyable stay

We generally enjoyed the property. However our experience in relation to checkout was extremely unpleasant and insulting. When we travel we treat any property we stay at as our own. We left this property in exactly the same condition as we found it. However, the owner literally tried to extort additional money from us due to “puzzle pieces” being scattered about (we did not use any puzzles and I am not even sure what this means) and the fact that we had a dog, which was agreed well in advance. Our dog has been to multiple rentals around the country and has never had any issues. We have never had this happen before in relation to dozens of rentals around the world. I would avoid this property and it’s owners.

Sorry you feel that way! We always get good reviews. Not sure what you are talking about when you say we tried to extort money from you which seems a bit harsh. Our cleaners complained.
