Small cottage that was perfect for 4 adults to rest overnight. We went to a concert at the JVD Winery, so it was extremely convenient for us. Enjoyed the woodsy feel around the cabin. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location and nice modern cottage! Appreciated the fireplace and wonderful porch. Remember it isn’t a full kitchen and prepare to use the grill, charcoal was provided. Will be back!

Perfect for a couples weekend

Loved the finishes of this new cottage. It was the perfect size for us and another couple for our NC wine country weekend. It’s right around the corner from Jones von Drehle and McRitchie. Will definitely stay there again!

Lovely getaway

We really enjoyed our stay in the Merlot cottage. First, we appreciated that there's a gated entrance to the cottages. It made for a peaceful stay with no through traffic.We enjoyed having both an indoor and outdoor table to choose from when having snacks in the afternoon and breakfast in the morning. We appreciated that the cottage had both a Keurig type coffeemaker and a drip coffeemaker.We are already discussing another visit and possibly renting all three cottages!

Amazing new cabin

Such a quiet cabin in a lovely setting. Large fridge was a plus and comfy sitting area outside and inside. Bathrooms were beautiful. Beds were hard, we had a rough time sleeping. If you dont mind harder beds, you'll be just fine. We looked forward coming back here at night after hiking all day. Spent nights out on the porch until well past dark. Thanks again. The winery is also amazing. Owner was so sweet and attentive. Wine was similar to wine I had in Europe.
