Great Spot for a Quiet, Productive Work Trip!I stayed at this property in Lufkin while handling some business in the area, and it was perfect for what I needed. Clean, comfortable, well-equipped, and super peaceful – exactly the kind of place that lets you focus and get work done without distractions.Location-wise, it’s a winner. It’s right down the street from two outstanding authentic Mexican taco shops – seriously some of the best, freshest tacos around. Quick, delicious meals without having to go far.There are also a couple of solid little restaurants nearby. When I needed a gym (Planet Fitness), groceries, or anything else, it was an easy drive west to Crockett or northeast to Nacogdoches – just hop in the car and go, no traffic or hassle.If you’re looking for a no-fuss, quiet base with great food options nearby, this place delivers. I’d book it again for work trips in a heartbeat.

We absolutely loved our stay at Pineywoods Blue Cottage nestled in the heart of East Texas. The house is new, clean, and beautifully done—very comfortable and welcoming. The location was perfect for us: only about 7 minutes from Planet Fitness, an excellent breakfast taco spot less than 3 minutes away, and a great local coffee shop just 5 minutes down the road. There’s also a large park right at the end of the street, which was a really nice bonus.Everything about this place made our stay easy and enjoyable. We will definitely be staying here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We rented this property to be near my father who was in the hospital. The house was so nice! Clean, well stocked and 5 minutes from the hospital. The owners communicated very well with us during our stay. Would highly recommend!

Home Away From Home

This is my fourth stay at this beautiful quaint home. I so appreciate the home hostess. She is always communicating and making sure that I arrive and have all the instructions to access the home in a timely fashion. As long as I travel to Lufkin Texas, this will definitely always be my go to place to stay pending if it’s available. It’s always clean, always stocked and communication with the owners is A.

Beautiful, clean, and updated getaway

My daughters and I stayed in this lovely home for a weekend gymnastics competition. It was immaculate and perfect for our needs! There were so many thoughtful details throughout the home. Can’t wait to see what the backyard will be like when it is finished. We will look for this house first when we come back to Lufkin next time!

My home away from home

Can’t say enough about this beautiful space in the woods. It’s enough room for me and my family. It’s always clean and the property manager is always attentive and always leaves me a special treat upon my arrival. This is my second stay and this will always be my first choice when coming to Lufkin, Texas.

Amazing little house

House was very clean, beautifully decorated, lots of attention to detail. Host were gracious with great communication. Neighborhood was a not the greatest but this house is spectacular. Beds are very comfortable. I would stay again.

Cutest Blue House

The stay at this house was amazing! The property managers were amazing, they communicated in a timely manner and everything that’s written on the page about the house was there and some. They have it set up so cute. They have oddly amenities that you could ever possibly need and some. Was making a dish and forgot to bring cinnamon, I looked in the cabinet had all the basics seasonings that you would need for dish. They even provide you complementary items chest for being a visitor of their property. The attention to detail in the house was just amazing, from the bedroom the TVs, the bathroom everything was just amazing. I can’t say enough about how beautiful this house was put together on the inside, how clean it was, how great the amenities were, I definitely felt like I was at my home that I’ve been upgraded because it was just amazing. I can’t say enough about how much of a great time I had. I have family and I travel there at least 2 to 3 times and definitely going to choose this location if it’s available instead of going to a hotel.

New, clean and neat

Everything in the house is new and fresh. The house was clean and neat and nearly anything we needed was readily available. Comfortable beds and a variety of pillows and blankets available. We stayed 4 nights and utilized the kitchen which was well stocked. Would stay again!

Quick Stay

House was very clean and kitchen was well stocked for making meals. We appreciated the extra spices and basics like ketchup, mustard, olive oil. If you have a family, take note that there isn’t an actual dining table . . There are 2 seats at the island and everyone else has to eat on the couch or at the coffee table. Also no dishwasher. Beds were comfortable though and the space was perfect for a quick weekend during graduation.

Great Place

This house was very cute and made us feel we were staying in luxury! It was perfect for our family of 5. The place was spotless and easy to get anywhere we needed to go in Lufkin. The managers were very communicative and helpful with anything we needed. Highly recommend this place if you want a cute place to stay!
