Great place for solo/couple stays. The place is down an alleyway so ordering food can be tricky but everything else was great. Host was easy to get ahold of and very courteous!

Property wasn’t cleaned when we arrived. After cleaning there was still hair on the floor and in the shower and no blanket for the bed. Ran out of toilet paper. No thermostat controls. No hair dryer or toaster or jetted bathtub as said in listing. Shower Water was hot! Host was very responsive

The overall stay was okay, the location and apartment was just as described and looked like the pictures. However, there was no hot water when it came time to bathe or use running water. The sheets were also dirty.

This property was a complete scam. Aside from the location being very sketchy, absolutely nothing was cleaned from the previous occupants (bed, bathroom, used towels, pizza boxes and noodle containers, spiders, etc.). I took many photos and videos. This trip cost me over a thousand dollars as I was not able to stay at the location and had to seek a last minute hotel during a music festival and FIFA where all room accommodation prices were through the roof. I was lucky to find anything at all that was not sold out. I’ve NEVER experienced something so awful. And the host was unresponsive and the voicemail box was full. Not only should I be reimbursed for the cost of the “retreat” but the costs it took for me to find another place to stay while rooms were over triple the price.

This stay was nice & accommodating for the night- the check in proceeds was confusing because we had to go thru the alley way, it didn’t state it was in someone’s basement so that was odd but overall i good stay

Took my son to see a concert at the Mann Center. The place was clean and nice and was a reasonable walk to the park and the Mann.

Very friendly hosts

Diabel & his wife were very friendly and made sure we were comfortable! the downstairs is clean and comfy, even had a kitchen and a green shower light! my partner and i had a great time in philly :)

Just what I needed

It was a short visit to Philly for me. I was attending a conference and even though this was not that close to the convention center it was easy to Uber back and forth and was a great place to stay!

This was a very clean and pretty apartment. Roomy. The outdoor area left a little to be desired but the place itself, was a treat. The host was responsive and friendly.

This is a decent place for a quick stay. It's very close to the Mann Center and an easy walk (1 mile). I wasn't thrilled with the temp in the room and couldn't figure out the A/C at 11:30 at night. Also it is someone's basement and the listing does not disclose that. Wasn't expecting that but it was still very private.

Philly getaway

Lovely basement apartment with lots of room. Great bathroom and wonderful king bed. Hosts were helpful and understanding. The only issue someone might have is with all the scents- diffusers- used. Otherwise it is terrific!

I reserved this VRBO property for June 4–6. When I arrived and entered the property, it was clear that it had not been cleaned or prepared for my stay. The bedroom was unmade, and the bed had dirty sheets, visible hair, and other debris on it. The kitchen still contained pizza boxes, and food had been left in the refrigerator.I immediately contacted the owner, who admitted there had been a scheduling conflict and that they had forgotten I was arriving that day. As a result, the property was not ready or suitable for occupancy.Because of the unsanitary condition of the property, I could not stay there and had to leave immediately. I was forced to find another hotel on very short notice while also preparing for a meeting scheduled within two hours. This caused significant inconvenience, stress, and additional expense.I did not stay at the property at any time. I have repeatedly requested a full refund from the owner but have not received one. Since the property was not clean, habitable, or available as promised, I am requesting a full refund for the June 4–6 reservation.

Close to Mann Center

I have traveled to the Mann center many times and have suffered through hard to find parking at their lots and even harder to leave after events due to traffic backups. This apartment is about a 3/4 of a mile walk to the center. It was perfect for us and made our evening concert easier to access and a much better experience overall. Despite it being in town it was very quiet and easily accessible. Parking is on the street and not the alleyway but we were able to find parking easily. I will always look for availability at this apartment when attending events at the Mann.

Spacious basement unit near the Mann

The interior of the unit was spacious and clean. Bed was comfy and had good bedding and lots of pillows. The unit is sparsely furnished and could use a few things to make it more comfortable. Also the entrance required a walk through an alley. My husband and I are city folks so it was fine but someone not comfortable with the city might not like this.

I wish it had been clearer that we would be off the alley. We got in very late after flight delays. It was a way to go to find the place. Also, there were only used rolls of toilet paper. Full rolls would have been nice. Bottled water would have been greatly appreciated. All in all it served our purpose of a place to sleep for the night. Thank you.

Property was not ready for check in on time. Listing said jetted tub which there is none. Also says parking available but it was street parking should clarify.Keypad combination did not work. There are 7 foot ceilings and I am 6’5” so it was very uncomfortable for me.Keurig was a nice touch.
