Cottage jumelé de deux étages avec grand salon et coin cheminée, cuisine entièrement équipée avec toutes les commodités. Deux chambres (1 chambre principale, 1 chambre avec 2 lits superposés) au rez-de-chaussée et deux salles de bains, une par étage. Superbe espace extérieur avec une grande barbecue et une salle à manger attenante. Very nice house located in a traditional village. Very quiet place not far from the beaches and a golf course (15 mn for both) by car and with a beautiful view on the sea. As it is the third time we go to this house I can say it is a perfect house with all what is needed and even more.

Perfect family getaway

Pleasant Stay

My family had a great time in Panthenonas. The old stone house is very beautiful and suitably furnished. The facilities are very good (also for small children). The garden and barbecue are great and the view of the sea is very nice.

Ideal for quiet and confortable holidays

Very quiet location in a small village at only 15 mn from the nearest beach. Beautiful flowered garden. Very well organized house with large outdoor kitchen. Availability of all furniture (ex. Korres shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom that is very delicate attention). Very clean and very well equiped.

Wonderful House for a calm stay

The old house is supplied with everything necessary. But not only this, threre are many personal pieces of equipment, that make a pleasant atmosphere. The garden is beautiful and in good order. The little village is nice and calm. Nevertheless you have the choice of 4 tavernas. We preferred to cook in the well supplied kitchen. Check in with the help of an video was easy.

Very relaxing holidays

We've spent 8 nights at the end of October/beginning of November in Parthenonas and we've had a very relaxing holiday. Thomas and his wife were phantastic hosts, always available for any questions. The house is very cosy, has a central heating and an open fire place, which have been only necessary in the evening and morning. The weather was still very nice, so we went to the beaches at noon and enjoyed the sun. And very often we were the only ones on the beach. Partenonas is also a very nice place for hiking in this season, that's why the restaurants and coffee bars are still open. All in all, we spent a phantastic time and can really recommend the house!

A feel of old Greece with an easy access to modern conveniences

Parthenonas is an old village, way up the hill from the tourist hustle and bustle. If you are a city dweller like I, the quiet will overwhelm you. The environment is truly rustic (with modern conveniences installed). Yet you are within 5 minute drive from Nea Marmaras - one of Sithonia seaside resort towns with shopping, boat trips, stores and supermarkets accessed easily. This property gives you a chance to enjoy the best of both modern and traditional worlds. Add a very sophisticated tavern right at your doorstep with excellent wine selection and excellent command of Greek cuisine, a tavern, mind you, with a solid local tradition and a breathtaking view from its terrace,.a tavern that is never noisy - and you will understand my wish to stay and never go back to what we consider normal life these days.

Thank you for your review. We are very glad that you enjoyed your stay. The house does offer an “away from it all” holiday while providing modern amenities. A quite scenery surrounds the house and it’s what one needs while on leave. A stroll in the village of Parthenonas or up the mountain is always an enjoyable and relaxing experience. The nearby taverna offers good food and an excellent view. While a serene and quite way of life can be enjoyed at the house guests can still seek a more lively scenery with only a 5-10 drive to the nearby village of Neos Marmaras.

Beautiful house in a wonderful village

We had a fantastic week in the house of Thomas and his wife in Parthenonas, the most beautiful village in Sithonia - as we found. It is just 5 km to the coast and Neos Marmaras and you are within olive trees and many hiking / wandering ways that just start before the door. In the garden lots of plants were already blooming and we had a wonderful view over Kassandra until mount Olymp with sunset every evening. The outdoor kitchen was very inviting for barbecue and having dinner there. Within the house there was enough fire wood for the fire place and central heating which was great for us as the days were still cold in the morning and in the night. Thomas and his wife were very nice, gave us a good instruction in the beginning and helped us answering our many questions concerning fishing etc. They even filled the fridge with a full breakfast for the first day incl. a bottle of loca wine which we had never before anywhere in this world. So thanks again to Thomas and his wife and all the best for the future. Yours Dana and family (5 alltogether)

Hätte nicht besser sein können

Wir können das Ferienhaus zu 100 % empfehlen. Die Lage ist traumhaft im vermutlich schönsten Dorf auf Sithonia mit Blick aufs Meer. Ein herrlicher Garten zum draußen sitzen oder noch ein Glas Wein auf dem kleinen Balkon trinken. Moderne Küche, gute Klimaanlage, top Ausstattung. Sehr freundliche Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter Thomas, der uns alles sehr gut erklärt hatte. Es gab eine Zwischenreinigung mit neuen Handtüchern und Laken. Es fühlte sich so an, als wäre man bei Freunden untergekommen. Sehr ruhig.Lieber Thomas, herzlichen Dank.

Haus mit Atmosphäre und Charme

Wenn man etwas Besonderes wünscht, dann ist das Bergdorf Parthenonas wahrscheinlich der schönste Aufenthaltsort auf Chalkidiki. Dazu das authentisch renovierte u. eingerichtete Haus- ziemlich klasse!. Alles ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Küche bietet mehr, als man benötigt. Küchenutensilien etc. sind reichlich vorhanden. Der Garten mit Schatten- u. Sonnenplätzen ist ein Traum, natürlich auch wegen der Aussicht aufs Meer u. den Sonnenuntergang. Alle 5 Tage werden Bettwäsche u. Handtücher gewechselt. Die Kommunikation mit dem Besitzer Thomas klappt prima. Der Abschied von dieser besonderen Umgebung fiel nicht leicht.

Urlaub in historischem Ambiente

… fangen wir doch mit der Zusammenfassung an 😉: Wir haben uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt! Klare Empfehlung für Urlauber, die Unterkünfte mit Historie mögen! Unser Gastgeber Thomas war ab Buchung und während des gesamten Aufenthaltes immer sehr kurzfristig für Fragen erreichbar und hat uns mit Tipps unterstützt 👏. Die Unterkunft/das historische Bauernhaus ist liebevoll restauriert, weitestgehend stilecht eingerichtet und mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet. Es verfügt über einen tollen Garten mit täglichem Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang. Zudem besteht das gesamte Dorf Parthenonas aus solchen Häusern, was es tagsüber zu einer kleinen Touristenattraktion macht. Da wir zu der Zeit eher an den Strand gefahren sind, waren uns die ganzen Fußgänger aber egal 😉. Die Lage mit 350m überm Meer ist (zumindest) im Sommer sehr angenehm, „unten“ in Neos Marmaras ist es gefühlt viel heißer. Im Dorf selbst sind keine Geschäfte, mit dem Auto aber absolut kein Problem. Schräg gegenüber befindet sich zudem direkt eine Taverne - kein Sternerestaurant, aber kann man nutzen ... muss man aber nicht. Wir haben uns der Küche und der extra angebauten BBQ-Area bedient 😎. DANKE nochmal an Thomas für die tolle Zeit, die wir hier hatten!!!

ein eindrucksvoller urlaub in einem liebevoll restaurierten haus!

wir haben eine woche in diesem wunderbar und mit viel liebe zum detail renovierten alten steinhaus verbracht. das haus liegt fast am oberen ende des traditionsortes parthenonas. parken kann man gleich vor der tür, haus und garten sind absolut gepflegt. es gibt im garten jede menge möglichkeiten, schattig zu sitzen. das abendessen unter den herrlichen weinreben waren ein genuss. die bäder sind modern renoviert und sehr sauber. die küche ist extrem gut ausgestattet, handtücher und bettwäsche ausreichend vorhanden, es fehlte wirklich an nichts. während der woche wurde sogar einmal die bettwäsche gewechselt. wlan und fernseher sind ebenfalls vorhanden. die kommunikation mit dem vermieter war schnell und unkompliziert. wir erhielten vor dem urlaub ein video mit allen notwendigen informationen, um problemlos zum haus hinzufinden und sich im haus zurechtzufinden zu können. tolle strände und einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind innerhalb von 15-20 minuten einfach zu erreichen. der blick vom balkon im obergeschoss auf den golf von toroneos ist besonders beim mogendlichen kaffee unvergesslich. das haus ist in höchstem maße zu empfehlen! vielen dank für einen großartigen und eindrucksvollen urlaub!

Fantastischer Urlaub in einem wunderschönen Traumhaus

Das liebevoll renovierte Haus aus den 1930er Jahren befindet sich in einer kleinen Siedlung auf 350 Meter über dem Meeresspiegel. Der Ausstattung fehlt es an nichts, das ist keine Übertreibung, es ist alles da, was man von daheim auch gewöhnt ist. Den morgendlichen Kaffee im Garten unter dem Blätterdach der Weinreben einzunehmen, und dabei den Blick über das Meer und auf den ersten Finger Kassandra schweifen zu lassen, war bereits ein Highlight. Es fällt einem schwer, das Haus und die Ortschaft zu verlassen, um ans Meer runter zu fahren oder Einkäufe zu erledigen - so wunderschön ist es in Parthenonas! Für Menschen, die mehr auf Trubel stehen, klingt so etwas eher wie die Höchststrafe, für uns war es der erholsamste und schönste Urlaub seit langem!

Wunderbares Haus in sehenswertem Dorf

Thomas kümmert sich perfekt und antwortet super schnell. Das Haus hat viel Charme, ist kühl und top ausgestattet (AC, TV, Waschmaschine, aber auch Kleinigkeiten wie Waschmittel, Toilettpapier, Wasser in Flaschen..). Der Ort ist total charmant, Paul's Taverne hat super Ausblick und auch im Terassen-Cafe am Ortseingang war's wirklich nett. Gute Rückzugsmöglichkeit nach Tag am Strand! Empfehlen wir sehr gerne weiter!

Einfach perfekt

Chalkidiki ist ja ansich schon ein Traum, aber das Haus ist einfach perfekt. An alles ist gedacht, alles ist vorhanden. Die Kommunikation mit Thomas lief über WhatsApp einfach und sehr gut. Jeder der Ruhe und Erholung sucht ist hier gut aufgehoben. Der Freisitz mit Profigrillstelle ist super. Täglich wurden wir von einer Katzenmama mit zwei süßen kleinen Kätzchen besucht. Wir wollten nach unseren 10 Tagen gar nicht mehr weg von hier und kommen sicher mal wieder. Versprochen!

Ein wundervolles Ferienhaus in toller und ruhiger Umgebung

Das Haus liegt in einem ruhigen Bergdorf mit einem traumhaften Blick auf das Meer. Das Ferienhaus ist liebevoll gestaltet und bietet mit einem Wäschewechsel den Komfort eines Hotels. Wir selbst sind als vierköpfige Familie verreist und die Zimmer sind perfekt ausgestattet uns sehr bequem. Der Garten lädt zum Spielen am Nachmittag ein oder einfach nur um auf das Meer zu schauen. Wenn man aus den quirligen Städten zurückkommt, ist das Ferienhaus ein Ort der Erholung. Im Bergdorf selbst finden sich einige Bars /Tavernen, um auch direkt im Dorf essen zu gehen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und auch die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter verlief reibungslos und wir haben bei jeder Fragestellung direkte Hilfe erhalten.

Wunderbarer aufenthalt

Wir haben eine tolle Woche in dem schönen Ferienhaus verbracht! Es ist toll gelegen mit Meerblick aus dem Garten in vom Balkon, ist sehr schön renoviert und sehr gut ausgestattet. Man fährt etwa 12 Minuten an die Küste, der Gastgeber gibt sehr gute Tipps! Als wir da waren gab es einige Wespen, da die Trauben bald reif wurden! Aber eine sehr gut ausgestattete Erste - Hilfe-Box ist verfügbar.

Dear Tobias, Thank you for your review. It’s always good news when our guests have a good time during their stay. That’s why we have renovated and equipped the house the best way we can. Our recent addition is a/c units in both bedrooms and the living room to offer cooler holidays for our guests. Some bees and wasps do wander around the area, it’s natural. During the hotter days they are out looking for water. The advice to all our guests is to not pour water or leave food laying around in the open. We will also try to remove ripe grapes that sometimes attract them. The beach as you mentioned is quite close and with our advice you can drive to some of the nicest beaches of Sithonia! Ferienhaus Parthenonas

Das Ferienhaus befindet sich im Bergdorf Parthenonas in einer absolut ruhigen Gegend, sehr erholsam! Die Bilder im Inserat stimmen absolut überein. (Wäsche- und Handtuchwechsel aller 5 Tage!) Das Haus ist eine wunderschöne Kombination aus altem, historischen Gebäude und moderner Sanierung (Fenster, Türen, Dusche usw.)! Überall sind Fliegen(Mücken)-Gitter installiert. Die Deckenventilatoren sind sinnvoll. Demnächst wird auch noch eine Klimaanlage installiert (Technik ist bereits im Haus), was das ganze perfekt macht. Wir haben uns überwiegend im Garten aufgehalten, der dazu auch einlädt. Wir können das Haus auf jeden Fall empfehlen! (Im Übrigen ist die Kommunikation mit Thomas hervorragend!)

Beautiful House and Garden

Easy contact to the landlord. Fridge was filled when we arrived. I absolutly loved the fresh towels and sheets every 4 days. Felt like in a Hotel. Everything is exatly how described and to be seen on the pictures. We had wonderful 14 days in Parthenonas! Thank you Thomas!

Communication with Thomas was very smooth, friendly and helpful. We were welcomed personally.

Its a beautiful house, perfect for a quiet retreat with friends or your family. Though we expected Parthenonas to be a bit more alive we still had a great stay there. The house and the garden made it really worthwhile. There was a barbecue and a small garden, that was great for our family to spend time with. The house was clean and spacious. The kids didnt want to leave in the end. The little Tavern next to the house played traditional music on weekends. A perfect spot to check out beaches nearby and still live in a beautiful home that has some history. We didnt like the new buildings along the coast of Sithonia much, thats why it seemed a perfect combination to live in Thomas' stone house and still visit the beaches that are only 10 minutes away! Thanks Thomas for letting us stay in your beautiful house. We highly recommend a stay there!

Thank you very much for your review! We always try to personally welcome our guests and offer a quick tour of the house. We think that communication is vital but we don't want to overload our guests so we maintain it in a "as needed" basis. Parthenonas village is the ideal place for a quiet holiday. The house with its outdoor kitchen and bbq can host unforgettable dinners after returning from the nearby beaches. Do come back anytime!

Wunderschönes Haus in einer wunderschönen Umgebung mit tollen Stränden!

Tolles, sauberes Haus mit schönem Garten und toller Außenküche! Im Garten sind gute Schattenplätze angelegt, vom Balkon kann man auf das Meer blicken und genueßt wunderbare Sonnenuntergänge. Insgesamt sehr gute Ausstattung des Hauses und der Küche, gutes W-Lan!

Thank you for your review! As you have seen the house is very well equipped and the reason is of course you, our guests! The kitchen has many amenities to make our guests holidays more enjoyable, a smart TV, with NETFLIX, can be a nice choice after a tiring day on the beach. This summer we upgraded our internet speed so our guests can sit in the shady garden and "surf" on the internet for hours. Come back and stay anytime!

A real touch of a Greek small village with a superb view towards sea, hills with olive trees and sun

The house has a real and nice time footprint with everything necessary for a perfect accommodation. A very nice and welcoming garden with grapes, flowers and a superb view over the whole gulf between Kassandra and Sithonia braces. Thomas, the owner, is a very nice person, very responsive, crisp messages, shorter than usual Greek style :) and a lot of useful information: places, pharmacies, doctors, beaches, sights, supermarkets, etc. Besides the original Greek vibe and the incredible location on the hill above the sea, there are also 2 nearby tavernas with meat based dishes if the guests are not in the mood to go (app 15 minutes drive) to Neos Marmaras restaurants which also serve fresh fish and fresh seafood. An alternative for us was to buy fresh fish and seafruits from the town (there are more than 4 places where they sell fresh fish and seafruits) and cook them at the barbeque which is a state of the art enterprise, with ventilator for smoke, huge grill for meat and fish, lights, washing place, garbage bin and absolutely everything necessary to prepare the fire. We would recommend this place for any family or group of friends who are searching for a nice and relaxing place in a nice and small original Greek village with a nice garden and an incredible sightseeing.

The house, with its garden and bbq area, does offer the perfect scenery for the whole family to spend time under the shade, relax and reboot. My name is Thomas Zafeiris. I live with my wife and daughter in the city of Thessaloniki where I grew up. I graduated high school in Greece and I got my bachelors degree in the United States. I currently work as an airline captain for a major Greek airline. I enjoy working and improving our Parthenona house preparing it for long summer stays. I also enjoy good food and wine and the company of my good friends while relaxing after work in Thessaloniki or Halkidiki.

This property was bought by my parents in 1986. They were invited by a family friend to visit Parthenonas. They were enchanted by the place and the particular house. Shortly after that it was decided to buy and renovate the property. They invested a lot of time, money and their love of the area to make the house what it has now become. A place for our family, friends and guests to relax and enjoy.

The magnificent view overlooking Toronaios bay, the small island of Kelyfos, Kassandra peninsula and in the distance Mount Olympus is always a rewarding moment when staying at our place. The sun sets behind Mount Olympus and Kisavos leaving behind its orange and magenta colors and it’s the perfect backdrop after a long day at the beach or hiking in the mountain. Later in the day have a glass of wine, from the bottle of local wine by Domaine Carras that we offer to all our guests, and start enjoying your holidays!
