Cherry View Cottage is located on the incredible Naramata Bench and set in a 2-acre cherry orchard. This well appointed home with open living spaces is a perfect place for friends and family to take advantage of the surrounding wineries & orchards. There is excellent access to enjoy visiting the lake, exploring hiking & biking trails along the KVR, or better yet relax with a glass of wine while taking in the incredible views of Okanagan lake. At 2,500 square feet over two levels the home has an open flow with excellent separation between bedrooms. On the upper floor there is a stunning master bedroom with a massive ensuite with an amazing soaker tub and stunning views from every window as well as a balcony. This is a perfect room to get ready for a special day. Next to the master is a second well appointed queen bedroom. It should be noted that most guests in bedroom 2 use the master ensuite bathroom as their bathroom. There is more then enough space for these two rooms to share, but something to note for anyone needing complete privacy in the master bedroom. The other 3 bedrooms - one queen and two bunk bed rooms - are located on the first floor and typically share the large bathroom with double sinks on that level. A great feature of this home is that all bedrooms are located to allow for separation of space - a nice feature for multiple families sharing.

Fully renovated in 2013 the home has a fantastic kitchen with plenty of areas to relax. This includes 2 patios, a comfortable siting area off the kitchen, and a great living room. Both patios offer excellent privacy- the back patio is particularly nice for enjoying a bit of shade in the peak of summer. Additional features include A/C, plenty of natural sun light, a fireplace, and 55 inch wall mounted flat screen TV for your enjoyment, dining room seating for 8 plus kitchen bar seating and bedrooms with fantastic beds. There is plenty of storage and personal touches throughout. We include free WIFI and cable TV.

Important: Our licence only allows for 10 people (2 per room), with the only exception for children under 2, please notify us at time of booking. We have had a problem of more guests coming and staying than originally booked, so if upon inspection there are more guests staying than originally booked (without prior authorization) the damage deposit will be forfeited and all guests will have to leave. An example, if you have booked for 10 guest and upon inspection there is 11 guests staying the damage deposit will be forfeited and all 11 guests will be asked to leave.

Security: We have cameras positioned outside the house for security reasons only.

Pets: Yes, we are pet friendly upon approval prior to booking and there is a pet fee of $50 PER PET.

You will have access to the entire home and surrounding property. There is a driveway for 2 cars and an additional parking area closer to the road - ideally only for large cars not trucks or additional vehicles. We have an electronic door key for easy access. Please be aware that there may be a farm vehicle working in the orchard at times.

Cherry View Cottage is located in the heart of the Naramata Bench along Naramata Road. It's a short drive to Naramata Village, 3 mile beach, and a multitude of wineries. There is also a secret trail from our house to the KVR- just ask us how to find it!

Biking, walking or driving are all great ways to see the area. We can connect you with any information you need for enjoying your stay and the surrounding area.

All homes on the Naramata Bench are on septic systems. This means, except for toilet paper nothing else can be flushed down the toilets and nothing but water should go down the kitchen sink. Baby wipes, food scraps, any kind of oil etc. all needs to go into the garbage.
We are pet friendly, but there is a $50 charge per pet and they must be approved at time of booking.
WE DO NOT LIKE TO 'FINE' OUR GUESTS - but a penalty of $100 could be charged if the following are not compiled with.

Garbage/Trash - no food must be left outside - all garbage must be put into the basement during your stay and only put into the black bin by the entrance on the day of your departure.
Recycling - put in blue bin - we recommend using the small bins at the front door but they can be put into the large blue bin too.
DO NOT USE ANY BINS CLOSE TO THE ROAD (they are not ours).
BBQ - must be cleaned after every use.
Moving Furniture - if you move it, then you must move it back.
Bikes and large equipment are not to be brought in house- secure storage available if needed.
Pets must be approved prior to booking. A pet fee of $50 per pet applies. Pets are not allowed on furniture or beds. Pet waste found anywhere in the house, yard or orchard is subject to a $100 fine per excrement.
No smoking allowed, including all outdoor spaces.
Rate is for up to 8 people. Additional occupants will be charged at $25 per person, per night.
Damaged linens will be charged at $20 per towel or facecloth, $50 per bed sheet, $200 per duvet and $10 per tea towel. Please note - face clothes are NOT to be used to remove makeup.
