Welcome to Barclay House, a freshly updated and remodeled home with a stylish 1950s mid-century modern flair, ready to comfortably host up to six guests—plus a furry friend or two. This inviting retreat blends vintage character with modern comfort and is perfect for families, friends, or business travelers.

Located in The Village, Barclay House sits on a quiet street near grocery stores, restaurants, shopping, and Lake Hefner. Guests love the peaceful neighborhood feel while still having easy access to dining, outdoor activities, and popular Oklahoma City attractions.

Designed to feel like a true home away from home, the house features thoughtful updates while preserving its classic mid-century charm. The home offers three bedrooms and a newly renovated bathroom. The primary bedroom includes a very comfortable king-size bed, the first guest room features a cozy queen-size bed, and the third bedroom offers a twin bed with a twin trundle—perfect for kids or additional guests.

The kitchen is well stocked for both quick meals and relaxed dinners at home. Enjoy a Keurig for single cups or a full pot of coffee, along with coffee pods, tea packets, sweeteners, creamer and a kettle on the stove. You’ll also find a full set of dishes, cutlery, glasses, serving pieces, wine glasses, openers, basic spices, skillets, and pots.

The living room features stylish furniture that complements the home’s mid-century modern style, including comfortable swivel chairs ideal for relaxing. The dining room seats six comfortably and can be extended for larger meals or gatherings.

Step outside to a fully fenced and gated backyard with two shade trees—perfect for relaxing or letting kids or pets enjoy the outdoor space.

Guests have full access to the entire home, front yard, backyard, and single-car garage. Entertainment is easy with Samsung Smart TVs in the living room and all three bedrooms, high-speed 1,000 Mbps internet, and DirecTV streaming for network television. Guests are welcome to log into their own streaming accounts.

So cozy, comfortable and inviting. The host had great communication. Beverly really thought of everything with this place. They have all of the basics, staples, and kitchen things you'd need. Also has some basic travel size necessities in the bathroom, which was a good thing because I had forgot my toothpaste. One of the best stays I've ever had.

Wonderful! Everything we needed to catch up after a long drive! Thoughtful amenities for sure. There seems to be a mosquito problem, I killed 6, counted 27 more congregating above the fridge alone and killed those as well. The drawer where the cups go can’t open and we did not want to break it. Comfy beds and pillows! Very accommodating especially when we asked for our late checkout.

This house was in a really cool neighborhood as it was all Midcentury Modern ranch houses. The host did a great job on the house and decorations. It was nice, clean andall amenities were fantastic especially a garge to boot. My only critic is for a sponge or dish cloth & ice trays. The back yard slong with table & chairs was great.

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. It was decorated in such a cute way, was roomy but still felt cozy, and was in a very quiet neighborhood. Woke up each morning and took a nice walk around the neighborhood! There was a spacious backyard if you’re traveling with kids or pets. Communication with the property manger was great! We’d definitely stay here again for future trips to OKC.

I loved this home. I must say, it's a steal regarding price. Very nice, safe, and peaceful neighborhood. Not one worry in the world here. Check it was easy, it was easy to find, and the host is amazing. Communication--five star. House---five star. Additionally, it's within 12 minutes of anything you would want, lake walks, shopping, away from the hustle but close enough if you want that. Definitely a gem.

Cute property. New furnishings. Comfortable bed in primary room. Did not try the others. Only complaint was the lack of an ice machine or even ice trays. Appreciated receiving garage code when asked. Not much communication outside of what's on VRBO. No instructions for check out. A desk would have been nice to have. Not ideal for remote work location.

The Village is a nice little quiet neighborhood in the middle of OKC. It has great grocery stores and restaurants nearby. It’s very close to Lake Hefner for some exercise and nice views. It’s also super convenient to get around and go anywhere in OKC.

Renovating Barclay House was a labor of love. I had great friends who helped me get it done. It’s a very clean and well designed. My guests love how it’s decorated and the comfort of the mattresses.
