Un endroit idéal pour se détendre

Notre maison de vacances de deux chambres à St Lucia est située dans un endroit à l'écart des perturbations. C'est une retraite idéale si vous recherchez une pause tranquille après une vie trépidante. La propriété est située sur un demi-hectare d'un magnifique jardin de fleurs et d'arbres fruitiers tropicaux dans le village du sud-est de Micoud.

Gravills Vacation Rental est un hébergement indépendant doté de tous les équipements modernes. vous vous sentirez comme chez vous en vacances. L'appartement est moderne, entièrement meublé, spacieux et très bien entretenu. Il est également disponible pour une location à long terme et convient aux voyageurs d'affaires.

L'espace:
La location de vacances peut accueillir un maximum de trois personnes, mais elle n'est pas conçue pour les enfants de moins de 12 ans. Le bâtiment est divisé en deux appartements séparés. Nous habitons au rez-de-chaussée pendant que vous occupez tout le niveau supérieur. Votre appartement contient les éléments suivants:

Chambre 1 - Mesure - 13ft x 13ft. Garde-robes en miroir encastrés sur toute la longueur, télévision par câble, climatiseur et ventilateur de plafond. Aussi draps de rechange, taies d'oreiller fournis.
Chambre 2 - Mesure - 11ft x 10ft. Garde-robes en miroir encastrés sur toute la longueur, télévision par câble, climatiseur et ventilateur de plafond, porte coulissante menant au balcon arrière. Aussi draps de rechange, taies d'oreiller fournis.
Balcon arrière - Donnant sur le magnifique jardin et mesurant - 28. 5 pi x 13 pi. Il y a du mobilier d'extérieur, y compris des chaises, des chaises longues et une table basse. Le balcon arrière a également été l’espace préféré de nos clients pour leurs repas.
Douche et toilettes - Mesure - 9ft x 6ft. Nous fournissons des serviettes de bain. Nous fournissons également du gel douche et du papier hygiénique pour commencer.
Kitchen / Diner - Measuring - 20ft x 13ft, y compris une table à manger pour six personnes maximum. La cuisine est bien équipée avec tous les gadgets (y compris le pop-corn et la machine à pizza) pour rendre votre séjour très confortable. Tous les ustensiles de cuisine sont fournis, y compris un four micro-ondes, une cuisinière / four à GPL et un four, un réfrigérateur pleine longueur avec congélateur en haut. Il y a de nombreux espaces de rangement bien garnis avec des ustensiles de cuisine comprenant casseroles, poêles, grille-pain, cafetière, cocottes, planches à découper, vaisselle, verrerie, couverts, papier d'aluminium et pellicule de plastique, torchon et savon à vaisselle, porte-serviettes en papier; nous vous commençons avec un rouleau. Balcon avant - Mesure - 22ft x 5. 5ft équipé d'une table et quatre chaises.

Un parking gratuit et sécurisé est également inclus dans votre espace. - Internet sans fil gratuit.
La buanderie au rez-de-chaussée qui est autonome (séparée de notre appartement) mesure 12. 3 pieds x 10 pieds est partagée avec nous et est. Cependant, nous vous donnons un accès total chaque fois que vous choisissez de faire votre lessive. L'appartement est toujours impeccablement propre et bien organisé.

Si vous décidez de ne pas louer de véhicule, nous pouvons fournir un service de prise en charge à l'aéroport international Hewanorra à votre arrivée. Notre accusation est très raisonnable. en dessous du tarif normal du taxi. Un tour de Sainte-Lucie est une caractéristique principale sur les visiteurs "pour faire la liste". Nous pouvons fournir ce service à un tarif très réduit, le choix vous appartient entièrement. Quels que soient vos besoins, s'il vous plaît ne pas hésiter à demander. Nous serons disponibles 24/7. Nous nous engageons à assurer le confort de tous nos invités, c'est pourquoi nous respecterons votre vie privée.

Autres choses à noter:
En plus de l'éclairage naturel, il y a un flux constant de brise tropicale fraîche dans tout l'appartement de vacances. En plus des climatiseurs, il y a des ventilateurs de plafond dans chaque pièce, à l'exception des toilettes / de la douche.

Nous demandons à nos invités d'utiliser discrètement la climatisation. Peu importe l'heure à laquelle vous êtes réveillé le matin, nous vous suggérons d'ouvrir toutes les portes et les fenêtres pour permettre la libre circulation de la brise fraîche dans l'appartement; c'est sécuritaire de le faire. Vous pouvez également laisser toutes les fenêtres et les portes ouvertes chaque fois que vous sortez, tant que nous sommes sur les lieux. Nous sécuriserons l'appartement si nous décidons de sortir plus tard. Veuillez noter que le courant électrique à Sainte-Lucie est de 220 à 240V mais que nous pouvons en accueillir 110V. Vous pouvez toutefois emporter votre convertisseur de puissance si vous le souhaitez.

Notre location de vacances est située dans une communauté qui se caractérise par un mélange de vie urbaine et rurale à proximité de la forêt tropicale. Moins de 2 minutes à pied ou en voiture hors de la grande route, vous arriverez dans la zone qui est exempt de perturbation. La location d'un véhicule pour votre séjour est recommandée.

Authentic cultural paradise

This was a memorable start to our vacation to say the least. The property is immaculate, and Stephen and Margaret (along with their lovely family) welcomed us into their home with open arms. We arrived on Christmas Day, and were unexpectedly invited us to share in their Christmas dinner/festivities. The hospitality we were shown was top-notch throughout our stay. Margaret is a phenomenal cook, and was always quick to offer a local delicacy. They were always willing to help us plan our days, and offer any advice for getting around the island. We would definitely recommend this property as a place to stay and really experience St. Lucian living in a part of the island that is very different than the resort areas. We extend our thanks and gratitude to Stephen and Margaret for the opportunity to spend part of our vacation with them.

Ultimate St. Lucian Experience

Margaret and Stephen are exceptional hosts. Words cannot explain their graciousness, above and beyond ANYTHING we could've EVER imagined. The beautiful home is quite near UVF airport with many restaurants and beautiful Sandy beach. Breakfast was excellent and creative with exotic tropical fruits right from their very own backyard. Staying at the BNB felt as if you are with family that you love. The Granvill's are very customer focused so you will enjoy your time here. The home is immaculately clean. Lots of breeze flowing through the home and the balconies are very large. You will not be disappointed booking this accommodation. Staying here gives you great access to Sandy beach with 2 restaurants on the beach (The Reef and Island Breeze) with excellent prices. Whatever your needs, simply ask Margaret or Stephen. Your wish is their command. Thank you both so very much for a memorable birthday vacation.

Home away from Home

We really like to vacation in a home and this was perfect. It was an outstanding home close to the south of the island fairly near the airport and very close to the new Horse Racing track! Margret picked us up from the airport and she and Stephen got us settled in and later Margret dropped us of at Sandy beach for dinner that night. She is available for driving around for a fee but we rented a car to explore. Getting to the north side takes about an hour to hour and a half on very windy up and down roads but it was worth it. We did a sailing trip with First 4 sail on Papagayo, a 40 foot racing yacht most excellent. And of course hiked up to signal peak and Fort Rodney. then Margret got us a tour with her guide Jahrod for the Gros Piton hike and his own Sapphire falls and jungle spa sulfur hot water. Had a great time and the home was well stocked with every imaginable appliance even an electric pizza oven (set off the fire alarm with that:) And yes the AC was great at night in the bedrooms for a great sleep. Cable TV with smart TV for you tube if you need that. Also left side British style driving.

Perfect Place to Stay

Stephen and Margaret were the most amazing hosts imaginable. My mom and I stayed for a week, and they were absolutely wonderful to us. We decided we were too uncomfortable driving around alone on the crazy roads in St. Lucia, so Margaret chauffeured us all over the island for a very low price and was more than accommodating. They planned out all of our excursions based on our interests, and Margaret kindly made us a delicious dinner after a long day of exploring when we were too tired to go buy food. She cooks a delicious breakfast as well, and the homemade cherry juice is beyond delicious. The house itself is immaculate - we cannot get over all the beautiful details in the tile and the great care that has been placed into this house. The floor was so clean you could eat off of it, and we did not see a single bug the entire week, which is impressive since they are abundant on the island. The yard is so beautiful with fruit trees and colorful flowers - truly a tropical paradise with a beautiful balcony overlooking it. The air conditioning in the bedrooms had the rooms super cold in a matter of minutes from turning it on, and it runs very quietly, although many people didn’t even use it thanks to the lovely breezes. We would never even consider staying anywhere else next time we return to St. Lucia. Margaret and Stephen provided us with a completely stress-free and absolutely perfect trip. We truly cannot think of a single complaint. On a side note, be sure to check out the St. Lucia Animal Protection Society on the north part of the island while you’re here if you are a dog lover! The street dog situation here is quite sad, and these amazing volunteers feed them and spay/neuter them since there are too many dogs on the island and not enough homes for them. We decided to adopt a street dog that I fell in love with on the trip and ship her back to us, and SLAPS has been wonderful about helping us figure out the logistics. Margaret decided to adopt 2 adorable puppies while chauffeuring us to the shelter!

"LUXURY APARTMENT!"

10 STARS!!!!!!!!!!!! This was such a revelation to us upon entering our vacation rental that we were just overwhelmed! The living room is huge as is the kitchen which has a myriad of appliances. It was always cool with the windows and doors open (with screens on all of them) and you have the choice of a fan or A/C in the bedrooms. We were able to get up, have coffee on the patio, eat breakfast, and then go when WE wanted to go. Margaret offers taxi service all over the island beginning with picking you up from the airport, seeing all of the sights (even setting you up with an experienced guide for the Pitons, bird watching, water fall, etc.), and dropping you off at the smooth water sand beach or where the ocean waves come rolling in (she left us with Marcus, who is a great guy, has lounge chairs, and drinks). I would very much like to stress to use Margaret as the taxi drivers just want to get you there as fast as they can. Margaret tell you all about the island, take you to the beach, and will return at the appointed time. Margaret is happy to take you to the bank to get Caribbean Dollars (if you don't get them at the airport) as it is much easier to pay as the US dollar is worth about 2.70 times the CD. Grocery shopping is a breeze and if you just want to stop to get a local meal, which are delicious, she can help you with that. We thoroughly enjoyed this vacation over the "resort" style vacation as we were treated to a "VERY EXPERIENCED!" host. Margaret and Stephen are wonderful, kind, and courteous people who attend to your every need INCLUDING current Covid requirements and when you need them. As a final thought- we simply want to go to the Caribbean during the winter and have found a "Home Away from Home!" It takes all of the worry out of planning for a vacation as Stephen and Margaret are in touch with you keeping up with your arrival and agenda. NOTE- we stayed for 5 days, went to Martinique to sail on Eye of the Wind, and came back which was such a relief to be "Back Home!" Some people were not so lucky as they stayed for 3 days, went somewhere else, and were so disappointed that they called to come back. It is ABSOLUTELY that nice! Please enjoy our home away from home. :)

Great Guests. It was indeed a pleasure to host Michael and Kelly during their first holiday in St Lucia. They are such a wonderful couple who kept up the communication from the moment they booked our apartment. Micheal and Kelly made themselves very comfortable. They followed all of the covid-19 protocols from when they checked in until check-out. They were well organized and left the apartment very clean and everything in place. Beautiful, well maintained, secluded.

Steven was an excellent host. Definitely recommend renting a car to get around, the road is a bit loose in spots but manageable just watch the drains on the side of the road. It's about a 20 min drive to Sandy Beach, which is the closest beach there is food and drink there & 1 hour drive to Sugar Beach. The airport is also an easy 20 min drive. The apartment itself was clean and welcoming. There was wifi, a full kitchen and living area, as well as TV, the night breeze and the fans helped keep us cool despite no AC. Would totally go back!

Perfect place to stay!

We stayed at Stephen’s house for one week while visiting St. Lucia and we were beyond happy with our choice. The property is gorgeous; on a sleepy street, overlooking the rainforest, surrounded by fruit trees, and only minutes from the airport and beaches. We felt completely safe and comfortable during our stay due to the location and our host Stephen. Stephen is super accommodating, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable of the island. He went above and beyond to make us feel right at home in St. Lucia while also giving us the a true island experience by taking us to local restaurants/bars, and cracking fresh coconuts in his back yard. We are so glad we chose Stephen’s house over a resort or hotel. We loved being in Micoud surrounded by locals and the laid back vibe of the area. Stephen was excellent at communicating prior to our trip- answering any questions we had and helped us with our planning. We wanted a relaxing, laid back vacation and wanted to experience what St. Lucia had to offer outside of the resorts and we feel we got that. If you are looking for more action, night life, tourist- based activities the Northwest part of the island might be more appealing. That being said, we travelled the whole Island and found we loved Micoud the best. A highlight of our trip was La Tille Falls located minutes away from Stephen’s house and the best food we had was at the Limelight BBQ less than five minutes away. We think it’s necessary to rent a car if you’ll be staying with Stephen. We rented a car and it made it easier to get around the island and see everything that we wanted to see. We found the perfect place to stay and would have been disappointed anywhere else. We hope to return to this stunning island again, and Stephen would be our first call. Ryan and Amelia are such wonderful people. They’re a quiet but very friendly couple whom I’d love to host again. They chose to experience a true “St Lucia Village holiday” and it was my pleasure in assisting to make this happen. Their willingness to be among the locals, getting a taste of the St Lucian culture was a great decision. From the moment they arrived I knew they’d be relaxed. Indeed I too felt very at ease with them; the conversation started flowing instantly as though we met before. It became a family atmosphere after we enjoyed breakfast together in my private apartment the morning after their arrival. Ryan and Amelia showed tremendous appreciation for the St Lucian hospitality. Yes Ryan, the guests who followed were really thrilled with your bottle of St Lucian rum! Amelia, your painting is amazing! I shall place it in a picture frame so that our future guests can enjoy too; I know you won’t mind. Thank you so much for leaving the apartment so clean. A real pleasure to have you guys around!

Beautiful apartment, great host

The apartment is large and spacious, it is clean and well maintained with everything we needed. The garden is also lovely. Stephen was a great host, always there if we needed anything and went out of his way to help us. He gave us some coconut jelly and lime juice from the garden, and cooked us a St Lucian breakfast which was lovely! It is in a tiny village, peaceful and friendly. You probably should have a car to stay here but we managed without one, it was quite far but we could walk to the bus and Stephen gave us lifts to the bus stop on the main road too. We loved staying in the south of St Lucia, the beaches are lovely and quiet and i would recommend this apartment to friends.

I was happy to host Amy and her family. Most important of all, they were very comfortable and had lots of space to move around freely. Before I offered Amy a taste of my Lucian breakfast, I kept thinking “Oh Gosh! I hope they all enjoy this” I felt great when she told me they did enjoy!! That’s the whole idea of a Village Holiday!! Pity there was no mangoes or any other fruit from the garden that I could have added to the Lime juice; they’ll soon be in season again. I would recommend Amy as a guest and I would love to welcome her again to stay at our apartment. Thank you Amy for choosing Tranquility.

I lived in Europe for 20-odd years and worked in an environment where safety and security took precedence. It was a great experience interacting with people from different backgrounds. I returned to St Lucia and set up business in retail while maintaining interest in the local property market. I take care of the day-to-day management of our property rentals.

While I maintain a keen interest in business, I make the most of every occasion that arises for me to socialize. I enjoy relaxing at my favorite beach restaurant & bar with a nice cool cocktail while engaging in conversation. Occasionally I go dancing, mainly at weekends.

I love my home, it is my castle, and I go the extra mile to ensure that all my guests feel comfortable as though it is their castle too. My idea of a great sense of achievement is, knowing that my guests and people in my company are happy.

I was born and raised in the village of Micoud (pronounced Me-coo), one of ten districts located on the southeastern coast of the lovely Island of St Lucia.

Micoud was one of the main farming villages, and we supplied a high percentage of agricultural products to the rest of the Island.

I enjoy the quiet “Away from the crowds" environment of Beauchamp. Beauchamp is a sub-village in the Micoud district, and it is no more than a ten-minute drive away from our D’Cartier Rain Forest. The much open space and beautiful greenery surroundings typify the truly unspoiled environment of our island. I feel very fortunate to have a comfortable place in St Lucia to call home. Surrounded by nature and having the privilege of producing my organic foods is such an advantage. Conducting our business in the commercial, the hustle and bustle districts of the Northern part of St Lucia, then moving away to my sanctuary is truly a privilege. Furthermore, everything, from entertainment to business, is easily accessible from where we are located, so why reside amidst the crowds?
