Built in the 1800s and set along the Saratoga Corinth & Hudson Railway, the farmhouse offers a true historic experience with original character, spacious grounds, and modern essentials for a comfortable stay. On select dates, guests may even experience the Dinner Train or Moonlight Moonshine events taking place right beside the property.

Please note that this is a genuinely historic home. Original floors may creak, the staircase is steeper than in a modern home, and certain features reflect the age of the property. That character is part of what makes the farmhouse special, but we want guests to know what to expect before booking.

Historic and cozy

The property hosts a beautiful and spacious home built in the 1700s that is filled with antique charm. My team stayed there for a conference and it was conveniently close to town, but with all the peace and quiet of nature.

Fabulous Property and House for Family Gathering

The kitchen and huge dining room table allowed us to cook and talk and gather and enjoy each other’s company. The history of the property and house was amazing. Each room was wonderful. One of the couples has already looked into booking another trip here. Also, we had a train dinner in the back yard and everyone really enjoyed that. No complaints about anything. Sj

We were told people had to stay at the landing across the street but they were all over the yard. We were even asked to move our vehicles out of the driveway to park somehwere else.

Historic, convenient and awesome

We rented this spot for the big Travers Races at Saratoga, less than a 10 min drive away. We didnt expect to have a visit from the home owner who owns the house, the train track across the street and the classic old train! Oh and he's the conductor too!! It was great. The house is filled with classic saratoga memorabilia and has everthing you need. The steps are steep but the rooms are clean and comfie. We loved it!!

Did not feel comfortable and left after 10 min

Visited Saratoga for a golf outing and booked this place since it was 5 minutes from the track / golf course. My family and I did not feel comfortable in the house after 10 minutes of arrival due to cleanliness, smell, house felt like it was falling apart and haunted. Ended up leaving and staying at a nearby hotel for the weekend; didn’t even bring our luggage into the house.

Fantastic country home just minutes to Saratoga so it is the best of both: country quiet on a beautiful property and the proximity to multiple restaurants, Tang art museum, track, ballet, SPAC of beautiful Saratoga Springs!If you love trains, this house is an homage to the old trains of yesteryear!
