We are also 15 minutes from Glen Rose, Dinosaur Valley, and Fossil Rim! This little house is small, but packed with personality and charm! We are obsessed with bringing you the most comfortable stay, with musical details that will bring you back to when music was rad! We can’t wait to host you!

Funky Green House is a Whole Vibe!

stayed here on a weekend with my mom and love the kitschyness of this place! Location is wonderfully close to antiquing dining and hiking. I would like to let others considering this place for a stay to know that at the time of our visit in late September 2024, there were approximately eight cats living on and near the property. They were very sweet and stayed outside, but anyone with cat allergies may want to be aware of this for their stay.

Thank you for your review! We’ve unfortunately had to navigate catching and fixing animals people have dumped in our neighborhood. We encourage them to stay outside, and we are diligently working on finding them homes! I’m sorry it cost us a valuable star, but appreciate your honesty.

Memorable weekend in a GREAT spot!

This place is awesome - exceeding all expectations. The attention to detail is very impressive with the music theme and the finish out overall is very very nice and new - great kitchen and shower and all that. We walked to downtown on Saturday night and enjoyed some live music at the also awesome Rattlesnake Roadhouse. This is a great couples getaway spot for anyone in DFW. It’s also a short drive to glen rose with hiking spots and more restaurants. Definitely give this place a try for a relaxing and enjoyable weekend away from the hustle ane bustle of Dallas.

We are locals to Walnut Springs and we have been hosting vacation rentals in town since 2016 at the Tailgate Ranch just up the road. We love to travel and more than anything, we love to know that our guests have experienced our properties exactly how they were built to be experienced!

This neighborhood is up-and-coming, super close to new venues going up downtown that will offer exciting experiences for us and our guests!

The green room welcomes you with a retro striped mural as you come in the lime green front door, and as you look around, you will notice more and more special touches, lending to music from the past, including a record player, disco ball over the bed, vintage music posters from events we have actually attended! Aside from that, we provide it all: dishes, coffee, cleaning supplies, a full-size washer and dryer, even earplugs in case you need them!
