A beautiful place to get away too. Peaceful and quiet spot to relax. Beautiful view of the lake. My family enjoyed spending time at the Lake house. Perfect for a weekend getaway.

Perfect fall view of the trees on the lake making memories fishing. Cottage has everything you need and comfy beds. Great communication with hostesses and will certainly book in the future.

We had a wonderfully quiet experience at this Horseshoe Lake house. The serenity was amazing. The communication with the host was excellent and helpful. The house was well stocked, very clean, and the perfect spot for our needs. We’d love to come back in the summer time!

An idyllic location on a quiet lake . Spotless and very well apponted cottage. This was the perfect spot for a trip to WNY. Hosts were available and prompt to answer any questions.

We loved this property! The house was so cute, and the backyard and lake was amazing. It’s very private, was so dreamy! There was a couple issues and the owners were attentive and quickly handled the situation! Would love to come and stay again.

Absolutely fantastic cottage set on beautiful lake with everything you need to enjoy the weekend. Super clean and well maintained. All the comforts of home with outside grill, propane fire table to enjoy the deck with lake view. Row boat on the dock made for an easy adventure on the water. Full stocked kitchen. Highly recommend. 10-10. Our family of 5 including 3 teenagers loved it including the well stocked game cabinet. Will look to day again on our next trip to Batavia.

Very very beautiful house! The hosts were very sweet people.It was lovey to be able to walk out to the deck just from the bedroom! and sit on the deck and watch the fish, there is also a beach that you can go swimming in as well! Will definitely be coming back!

Beautiful spot, very private

The house was very private right on the lake. House had everything we needed. The hosts were very friendly and right down the road if you need anything. I went to the beach the one day. There is a life guard on duty.

Everything was pefect. Just as described. Extremely clean and comfortable. Jennifer was easy to work with and quick to respond to questions. Beautiful peaceful setting. There is a little beach right near by good for kids or to wade in to cool off.

Our hosts went above and beyond. After too many stays recently in homes that had clearly been purchased by a larger rental company, which ended up being "lipsticked pigs" (IG worthy, but clearly not well thought out for comfort and usability), it was DELIGHTFUL to stay somewhere that was clearly loved. Everything we could need was provided. The view was lovely. Beds were comfortable. Home and yard were immaculate. We felt very much at home, and would love to return sometime soon!Included in the attached photos are the neighbors' adorable pups, whom you may have the pleasure of meeting if you go for a paddle.(If you are planning to arrive after dark, be sure to pay attention to the host's well thought out directions. It is not all that confusing, and not an issue at all in the daytime, but don't expect your GPS to make it clear for you.)

My family and I loved this place. Beautiful view over the lake. Nice and quiet. The house was comfortable and very well stocked. Jen was an informative host and made sure we had everything we needed. We appreciated the use of the kayaks, life jackets and fishing poles. While the neighboring houses are fairly close, the way the house is situated provides a lot of privacy. We would love to return in the future. Great central location for exploring Rochester/Buffalo/Niagara Falls.

Great stay in Batavia….on a lake!

This is one of the best stays we have had with VRBO and we use VRBO’s quite often for our lodging on vacation. A lovely basket of snacks and coffee for Keurig was on the kitchen table….very appreciative of that greeting! Location is right on Horseshoe Lake in Batavia…really a hidden gem in Batavia. Big windows in each room give amazing views of the water. Jen is a very attentive owner and great with communication. Kitchen well stocked, which we appreciated!! All in all a great stay! Highly recommend this home!!!

Great cottage!

We were extremely happy with our stay. The place was just what we needed. It was very clean, had everything you needed in the kitchen, and bathroom. Jen was very helpful with the check in process and giving us information about the property including the small beach area- which my kids loved! Within a few weeks of our stay we needed to change our dates. Since the days we needed were available, we were easily able to update it. We were so appreciative of Jen’s flexibility! If we are ever in the area again, we’ll be back.

We had a great stay there was definitely pros and cons just like anywhere else you would stay. Only had a couple issues that I wish would have been disclosed prior to me booking and didn't find out till the day of arrival.Cons- *No use of the driveway wasn't disclosed prior.*Stairs to get down to the house that weren't disclosed prior. *Not suited for elderly disabled *Hot water runs out very fast* Road to get to Vrbo full of potholesTechnically not anything the host can do about it just an FYI for future bookings.Pros-* Host was very nice and tried to address any issues that I had upon having them and tried to figure out a solution.*Beautiful house *Very clean *Lots of amenities *Very cozy feel *Area is very quiet neighbors were friendly.

From Stafford, Va to Stafford, NY

This is simply the best house we’ve ever stayed at. The view in the mornings and evenings were immaculate with a nice quiet neighborhood and sounds of nature. Perfect for enjoying a morning cup of coffee. The house was lovely, perfectly decorated so little hands (kids) would not be grabbing or breaking things they shouldn’t! Ms. Jennifer was an incredibly thoughtful host from providing a pack and play, to little thoughtful gifts left for the kids after a 9 hour drive. Super kind and responsive whenever we had a question. Wish all hosts were like this! Thank you for making this a stress-free memorable time for our family! We look forward to coming back in our future trips! ❤️

I can't compliment Jennifer enough about everything. My family loved the place. It was very comfortable, beautiful, and clean. She had the place well-stocked with everything we needed. The place looked exactly like the pictures. Check-in was super easy and it the directions were super easy to follow.My family loved this stay and all of them said this was much better than staying at a hotel. Waking up in the morning and drinking coffee while looking out at the lake was very nice!

We loved our stay at this lake house. It is located on the more quiet end of the lake...Bonus for me. I started every day with a cup of coffee sitting on the dock looking at a beautiful picture of God's creation. We had kids and grandkids come in on different days. A few overnighters, plenty of room. The beach was PERFECT for the kids of all ages, young and young at heart, and only a 5 minute walk away. The fishing was fun, lots of fish, especially right of the dock for the littles. The kayaks offered a lovely way to spend some time. I highly recommend this location for anyone.
