Apple Mountain Retreat is a cozy full walk-out basement apartment in quiet single-family home. Located in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley with easy access to Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive, and just minutes from multiple award-winning wineries. Quick access off Route 66, but in a private, peaceful setting on Apple Mountain.
The property offers gorgeous mountains views, outdoor wood-burning stove, and a private peaceful patio for reading and watching wildlife.
The property features a newly renovated kitchen, washer and dryer, queen bed, living room with large sectional couch, TV, full bath w/walk-in shower. *Queen air mattress available for additional guests, if needed.

During your stay at Apple Mountain Retreat, you'll often see deer, rabbits, and the resident Bassett Hounds who enjoy roaming the property.
There is shared parking on the paved driveway.
**No pets (the resident Bassett Hounds want all the attention for themselves).

Apple Mountain Retreat is close to the many festivals and attractions offered in the Shenandoah Valley: Appaloosa Festival, Wine Festival, Festival of the Leaves, Gold Cup polo matches, Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive, and much more.

The property was clean, quiet, and comfortable. It was close to Shenandoah National Park and several wineries, so it was a great home base for our short weekend trip. Tiny was very responsive and the check in/out procedures were simple and clear. We would definitely consider coming back!

This property is beautifully decorated and well maintained. It is also very quiet. The kitchen is fully equipped. I would recommend this property as a lovely quiet retreat. It is less than a mile from the Apple house.

Great location for a Shenandoah getaway!

Overall we had a great experience! Check-in was seamless and the location was very accesible to the northern entrance of Shenandoah National Park. The kitchen was great to have as well! The only negative feedback I have to offer was some hair left over from the previous guest perhaps on the walls and on shower product bottles.

One quick night

A great place to come and relax after a long day and before another long day. It was clean. The owner prepared for us, but gave us space to relax without any interference. It really was perfect for us. I couldn’t seem to get the DVD player to work, so perhaps some directions on getting it to work would be helpful. Other than that, it was wonderful!

The place was super clean and cozy. The listing was a little misleading showing the entire house when it’s really just the basement apartment (which was plenty for us yet the listing pictures are misleading) It was uncomfortable to have cameras pointing directly at what would be our only entrance point and back patio. There were also 3 doors inside that led to our space that only locked from the outside and we had no option of locking. Beautiful property and located in a great spot!

If you had read the property description prior to booking, you would have known it was a one bedroom apartment, not the whole house. As for the locked doors. One leads into the garage, one up the steps to my private space and one to a storage area. There would be NO reason for you to go into those spaces. And yes, I have servalinces camera's (5 total on the property) for my protection. However, I can see why that would bother you, since you were stumbling around on the patio and back yard to drunk to stand and walk. And you were extremely loud and filthy mouthed until 3am. Waking everyone in the house all 3 nights you were here. You had no respect for others. But especially yourself. I personally found your drunkenness and filthy mouth embarrassing and unsettling.
