Sunset over the mountains from the deck. Close to Strasburg's Emporium and other quaint shops, breweries and wineries. Strasburg museum open May to October. Close drive to Skyline drive, GW and Shenandoah National Parks
Extremely convenient location to explore the Shenandoah Valley. Strasburg and Front Royal are very close, so plenty of food options and all the shopping you could need within 15 minutes of the cottage. The cottage itself was clean and comfortable. The property had plenty of space to walk our dog and play catch. We definitely enjoyed our stay.
Such a serene, inviting cottage! We enjoyed our peaceful weekend at the mint cottage. It was immaculately clean, comfortable and inviting, and the perfect location to go explore Shenandoah National Park & George Washington National Forest. The kitchen was well-stocked, and it's easy to tell the owner takes great pride in and care of this relaxing space. The walking trails on the property were perfect for the dog too! We will return soon.
The Mint House is set on a beautiful property and the cottage was delightful. Well stocked and clean and excellent communication from the property owner. Highly recommend!
Very clean cottage with well-stocked kitchen with a great outdoors area for grilling and hanging out. Quiet relaxing location way up off the road. The hosts were unobtrusive but available. We have already recommended this cottage to our immediate family for future stays.
Canât say enough about Mint Cottage. Wonderfully furnished, immaculately clean, situated on an absolutely lovely rural property (the wildflower meadow is amazing!) Host Christine is attentive and immediately responsive. Thank you for the great stay!
This cottage was magical! The trails and wildlife on the property as well as the beautiful outdoor patio and fire pit to watch the sunset were so amazing! Itâs centrally located to Skyline caverns, hiking trails, parks and canoeing. The wineries and breweries in the area were fantastic!Weârgrateful we code mint Cottage!
The cottage is lovely, with modern kitchen and bath and charming furnishings throughout. Views are wonderful and the location is quiet, set well back from the road. The host is very prompt and courteous in communications. She went above and beyond the call of duty in helping us when I temporarily mislaid the key.
Everything was perfect! Clean, comfy, and peaceful. The pictures really do not do this property justice. Lots of neat details inside and out. The hostess is easy to get in touch with and truly cares about your stay! We plan to return.
We spent a perfect weekend enjoying the coziness of the house, the magic of the land around it with our dog and the comfort of an evening around the fire pit watching the sun set behind the mountains! The hikes all around are first class and Christine thought of everything to make our stay perfect!
This is an amazing property! Quaint, clean, and a very nice property owner. Have stayed several times and is always our first choice when coming to the area!
Enjoyed a very relaxing stay with our pup. Great Mountain views and places to walk. Cottage is lovely and Christine was very responsive. Would definitely recommend.
We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was clean and stocked with all of our needs. The property manager was very responsive and even sketched us a map of the layout of the property. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone visiting the area.
We had a great weekend at the cottage. Really beautiful property. Cottage was well appointed and communication with owner was easy. Thanks for a great visit.
Host Christine was very responsive and check in was easiest we've ever had. Nice updated bathroom. We loved the country feel but were close enough to towns for dinner. We spent most of our time driving around exploring history in Virginia. We saw deer and a family of foxes near the cottage which was fun to watch. Unfortunately we were there during the record heat wave so couldnt enjoy the egg chairs outside or check out the walking trails. Only very minor thing we would of liked was a box of kleenex. We would definitely consider staying at Mint Cottage again we we come back to the area.
