C'est l'endroit idĂ©al pour une escapade d'un week-end ou un rĂ©pit d'un voyage d'affaires. C'est aussi parfait pour les Ă©vĂ©nements ou les petits rassemblements de moins de 30 personnes. VĂ©rifiez auprĂšs de l'hĂŽte pour le prix de l'Ă©vĂ©nement. Marche pour les arts et le divertissement ou le sĂ©jour et profiter de la vie privĂ©e des beaux jardins. Les espaces de divertissement en plein air et barbecue au gaz sont situĂ©s entre la maison principale et maison d'hĂŽtes; un endroit parfait pour les repas en plein air sous le couvert de chĂȘnes Ă©clairĂ©s avec des lumiĂšres blanches d'enroulement. La maison a Ă©tĂ© construite en 1927 et ressemble Ă  un chalet europĂ©en. La maison d'hĂŽtes a Ă©tĂ© construite en 2006. La propriĂ©tĂ© et les terrains ont Ă©tĂ© publiĂ©s dans divers magazines et publications commerciales et ouverts aux visites publiques en plein air. La maison d'hĂŽtes est reliĂ©e Ă  la maison principale par un passage couvert avec les zones de divertissement en plein air situĂ©es au centre des deux maisons. Les fenĂȘtres Ă  battants entourent la maison d'hĂŽtes avec une vue magnifique sur les jardins et 100+ annĂ©e vieux arbres de chĂȘne. Enjoyed my time at this guesthouse in Austin’s South Congress area. The location was ideal—close to all the shops, restaurants, and energy of SoCo, yet tucked away enough to feel quiet and comfortable and safe.The house was clean, well-designed, and easy to settle into. The bed was comfortable, the amenities were thoughtful, and everything worked exactly as it should. It felt like a place that’s been set up with care.Michelle was warm, responsive and genuinely invested in ensuring I had everything I needed.Highly recommend this guesthouse!

We enjoyed this guesthouse immensely. It was in a great location in the city. We loved having coffee on the patio in the mornings! We accidently left one of our belongings behind after leaving, and Michelle was gracious enough to ship the item to us.

If Only We Could Have Stayed Longer...

My husband and I have stayed in some top-notch hotels all over the Austin area and this was by far our favorite trip. Michelle's guest house was in a prime location, within walking distance to South Congress Ave. We walked to brunch, our morning coffee, shopping, and "home" after a dinner and drinks out. It was quaint, quiet and cute. The guest house is tastefully decorated and makes you feel like you're at home, away from home. The patio was beautiful and was surrounded by live oak trees. We only wish we could have stayed longer and are already planning our return. Thanks again Michelle, you were an excellent host!

Very special property with nice touches. We really enjoyed having the fire during the winter. Cozy and romantic. Perfect location! The check in instructions mentioned hot water issues. I was able to get hot water in the shower, but only by using the “hot” tap only. I could not get hot water in the sink without a lot of trial and error. Super nice property, however some plumbing issues should be fine-tuned at this price.

Simply Amazing!!

What can I say about this Downtown Guest House that hasn't been said? Even after reading all the positive reviews and seeing all the wonderful pictures, my expectations were exceeded. First off, Michelle is an excellent host. She goes out of her way to provide everything you need to have the most enjoyable time. The location is perfect. There is so much to do within walking distance, as parking in Downtown Austin can be challenging. The house has everything you need to have a comfortable stay. Words cannot describe the amazing backyard that Michelle has constructed. I have never been more comfortable in a place, than I was in this backyard. The positive energy that flows through this area, is undeniable. To say I recommend this Guest House would be an understatement. It's just that good!

Simply Wonderful!

I almost hate to write this review because I don't want this rental to get so popular, we can't book it in the future...but, I am a nice person and want everyone to experience great things so I suppose I will write this positive review and share my love for this studio. My husband and I stayed here in Sept 2014. We absolutely LOVED it! It was super clean, smelled amazing, and just simply wonderful. It had great AC which was super important being that it is Texas after all. There are two beds. One on in the loft and one on the main floor. We were a little nervous about climbing the ladder to the loft bed so we slept on the main floor bed. It was super comfy and did the job after a long day exploring Austin. The little bohemian touches were great! It really made the space. We LOVED the bathroom. The size was perfect and the décor was lovely. The outside space was pure tranquility. The hammocks under those beautiful trees were just sublime. I wish we spent more time on them but we wanted to explore Austin too. Also, the neighborhood is super safe and right in SoCo. Easy walking to shops & restaurants. We cannot recommend this rental enough. It is the only place we will stay when we visit Austin from now on. Thanks again Michelle for a great stay!

What an amazing place!!! We were blown away by our hosts hospitality and how she has made the space feel so cozy! The property is right in the middle of everything but tucked away so you feel like you’re away from it all. Our favorite part was the end of each day sitting on the patio under the oak trees. Bed was super comfy, we slept soooo well! Highly recommend and definitely will be back!
