*** The condo resides in an older building which runs on a boiler / chiller system. This means that the community controls whether or not the heating and cooling is set to AC or heat. During the colder months of the year, the community has the system on "heat" and during the warmer months of the year, the community has the system on "AC". What this means is that the renters can control the temperature on their thermostat. However, renters must understand that the system is either on "heat" or "AC" depending on what the HOA decided to turn on due to the outside temperatures. In seasonal transition months in Arizona, for Example, late February / March, there may be an instant where we see unseasonably warm days where the community still has the boiler / chiller set to "heat" only. During those seasonal transition periods of the year, we are happy to provide a portable AC unit and fans until the community votes and turns on the AC. **
