From sunrise to sunset, beautiful views surround this exquisite five en-suite bedroom estate in the prestigious Kauna'oa gated community in the heart of the Mauna Kea resort. Hawaiian Elegance is a brand new home just completed in March 2024 and beautifully decorated by a famous Hawaiian interior decorator. It is situated on a private one acre lot providing 4,620 square feet of single level living space making it ideal for families wanting privacy, space and proximity to the beaches and ocean. With only 44 homes in the exclusive Kauna'oa gated community it is always uncrowded. Kauna'oa features beautiful luxury estate homes nearing completion. In 2026 there may from time to time be construction activity in the lot next door. Mature landscaping provides privacy along the side. While we take every precaution to avoid and inconvenience, any activity is beyond our control.

Ideally situated in the heart of Mauna Kea Resort near the ocean, between the Big Island's best two beaches, it is an easy ten minute walk to either Mauna Kea Beach or Hapuna Beach. Hapuna Beach was recently voted the #1 Beach in the USA while many consider Mauna Kea beach as one of the best beaches in the world. Each beach has a world-class hotel with amenities including seven restaurants, oceanfront tennis & pickleball courts and two golf courses.

Sleeping up to twelve, the spacious, elegant and thoughtfully equipped residence will be the home away from home you'll want to revisit for years to come. Each of the large five bedrooms and den feature a private lanai patio and a full private bath. The den is equipped with a comfortable tempurpedic mattress in a King sleeper sofa. Four of the bathrooms also feature a private outdoor shower. All the bedrooms and den have high end OLED 65in TVs. Two of the ensuite bedrooms are separate O'hanas with their own private entrance.

As you walk through the wooden gates into the courtyard and over the entrance water feature, you immediately begin to relax and unwind. Stepping through the front door into the great room, you're greeted by vaulted ceilings and expansive pocket doors that flood the space with natural light, creating an inviting and airy atmosphere. The interior of the home is immaculately built with touches of beautiful wood trims and solid wood doors adding an elegant touch of Hawaii.

The kitchen area is a chef's dream, featuring state-of-the-art appliances, custom cabinetry, and sleek countertops. Whether you're preparing a gourmet meal for family and friends or simply enjoying a casual breakfast at the spacious island counter, the kitchen is perfect for culinary adventures. A beautiful dining table awaits for intimate dinners or festive gatherings. With views of the lanai, the large pool and golf course beyond, every meal becomes a memorable experience surrounded by the beauty of the outdoors. The screened pocket doors seamlessly connect the indoor and outdoor spaces, allowing gentle breezes to flow through the great room providing uninterrupted views of the lanai, pool, and golf course beyond.

Step outside onto the lanai, where a private oasis awaits. Lounge beside the sparkling pool as you soak up the sun, or unwind in the shade of the covered patio with a refreshing drink in hand. The massive pool with oversize spa for 10 will make for the best family pool parties. Swimmers will get plenty of morning laps in before enjoying a cup of coffee on the large pool sun deck. As the day draws to a close, the sky transforms into a canvas of vibrant hues, painting the horizon with breathtaking sunset views that you can enjoy from the comfort of your own backyard.

The primary suite with California King size bed, outdoor seating area, and large private ensuite contains soaker tub and indoor / outdoor showers.

Each of the other large four bedrooms has a California King bed with a private ensuite, three of which have their own outdoor shower.

Need to take a work call or attend a virtual meeting? Or want a place for the kids to relax and watch a movie after a day in the sun? The den provides a private, comfortable space complete with pull out king size American comfort sleeper sofa, 65 inch TV, desk and chair and full bathroom with large lanai overlooking the tropical courtyard.

Directly across the street from Hawaiian Elegance is the “The Club” featuring a private par 3 Weiskopf design practice course and other amenities. Guests of Hawaiian Elegance are welcome to use the practice course at no extra charge and no reservation required from dawn to dusk. In addition, guests may use the Club's pool, spa and fitness facility from 10am-2pm each day.
Optional registration (additional costs apply) for the Mauna Kea Club offers exclusive use of resort towels and chairs and beach amenities, charging privileges at each hotel's restaurants and shops, use of hotels pools, fitness centers, and discounts on golf and tennis at each of the Mauna Kea and Hapuna courses.

Venturing beyond the Mauna Kea resort, the Big Island is full of adventures and wonderful discoveries. Take a day trip to Volcano National Park, explore ancient lava tubes, visit wonderful galleries and small historic towns - Waimea, Hawi to name a few.

For your adventures away from the Mauna Kea, the garage is full with boogie boards, snorkel sets, beach chairs, umbrella's, wheeled coolers and more.
