Sweet Retreat, en face de la rivière Santa Fe dans le Railyard

Desert Sky est une douce retraite parfaitement située pour votre prochaine visite à Santa Fe, à seulement 14 minutes (0,7 miles) de la Plaza. L'attention aux détails que les propriétaires ont prise montre l'amour qu'ils ont de cette maison récemment rénovée. Ils ont ajouté de magnifiques portes peintes à la main et sculptées à la maison en adobe d'origine, et sélectionné un mobilier unique en son genre, y compris des meubles anciens et des œuvres d'art haut de gamme. Desert Sky est parfait pour un couple ou deux amis qui préfèrent avoir leur propre chambre et ne pas dormir sur un canapé-lit. Il y a deux patios - dont l'un est entièrement clos - ce qui en fait une excellente maison pour les chiens. Vous serez juste en face du parc de la rivière Santa Fe et pouvez le suivre directement jusqu'à la Plaza et Canyon Road, en passant d'abord par le quartier de Rail Yard. Le salon dispose d'une authentique cheminée kiva, de poutres en bois massif, d'un coin salon confortable pour quatre avec un canapé en cuir et une télévision à écran plat. HBO, Showtime, Cinemax et Starz. Le salon s'ouvre sur la salle à manger et la cuisine, qui mène au deuxième patio, ce qui le rend parfait pour préparer un repas en plein air. La cuisine a des appareils haut de gamme, de belles armoires en bois, des comptoirs en granit et un lave-vaisselle. Chacune des deux chambres a un lit queen size. La salle de bain a de superbes carreaux mexicains et est située entre les chambres dans une disposition Jack et Jill. Four stars for the casita, extra star for being pet friendly in an in-town location. Far preferable to the nearby Hilton or other hotel. Easily walkable to everything downtown and a nice greenway across the street. The casita is charming and well maintained, the space is tight though well thought out so expect some compromises. Great for a couple looking to mostly sightsee and dine out.

Cute patio loved the grill had everything we needed to cook out. We had some sweet snacks ready for us upon arrival and it was personalized for us so thoughtful. Very comfortable home and the art work in the home was amazing.

Where do we even begin? It was absolutely fantastic! Let’s start with the personal welcome. Our host, Susan, came by to greet us and welcome us to her casita. It features some of her amazing artwork, which we felt fortunate to have shared with us. We also had a welcome kit with local honey, chips and salsa, and bizcochitas, the state cookie of New Mexico. The casita itself is charming - lovely furniture, a shared courtyard and a private patio with table, chairs, umbrella and grill. It features a well-stocked kitchen, coffee and implements, and thoughtful touches like tissues, extra blankets, ample towels, umbrellas, real orchids on the table, and chocolates on the nightstands. Location is superb: 3 minutes drive to grocery stores and the major road, and 3-minute drive or a 15-minute walk along the Santa Fe River into the historic core. It’s also super quiet and the surrounding neighborhoods are charming as well. Two parking spots available for use. Will definitely try to stay here on our next trip to Santa Fe. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Enjoyed the small space. Loved the art on the walls. The kitchen was well supplied and we cooked meals there. Met the owners and they were very pleasant. The outdoor areas were well kept with flowers and plants. Only problem was the WiFi was slow and the tv kept buffering so could watch it much.

Great Location

Cozy casita very well appointed with cooking and kitchen items. Owners were very responsive and provided lovely local goodies to enjoy! Walking distance from the plaza and all the great shops and restaurants. I would stay here again!

Beautifully decorated with all the Santa Fe vibes. Secure courtyard for pets. Perfect location a few blocks from downtown Santa Fe. Amazing original art work by the owner throughout. Will be staying here again!
