Des exploitants de Goose Cove Cottage (181138), une propriété récemment acquise avec plusieurs des mêmes caractéristiques et commodités. Il s'agit d'une maison de style colonial de 2 étages avec 1 648 pieds carrés de surface habitable. Il y a 3 chambres (toutes au deuxième étage) et 2. 5 salles de bains (2 salles de bain complètes au deuxième étage, demi-bain au rez-de-chaussée). La chambre principale a un lit king et salle de bain complète. Des deux chambres restantes, une a un lit king et l'autre un lit queen. Sur demande, des dispositions peuvent être prises pour 2 occupants supplémentaires au rez-de-chaussée. Le chalet est en retrait de Oak Point Road (Rte. 230) environ 100 pieds et plus et offre une belle cour de niveau (idéal pour les enfants). Les équipements comprennent une télévision et un lecteur DVD dans toutes les chambres et le salon. Les services suivants sont fournis: câble, Internet sans fil, appels locaux et interurbains illimités aux États-Unis et au Canada, et plus encore. La cuisine est entièrement équipée et tous les draps sont fournis. Veuillez vous renseigner sur les fonctionnalités supplémentaires ou sur les besoins spécifiques. Best home rental ever!!! House was as described but more. No detail was left out. Kitchen stocked completely including spices, towels and extras in every bathroom, games and videos to play and the most personal touch was local Maine chocolate treats and blueberry soda. Check out was super easy too. Would definitely stay again.

This is a beautiful house in a nice quiet location. It is nicer than the pictures show, absolutely one of the best rentals we have visited! There's lots of space inside and the kitchen has everything you could want for cooking, and there is a nice big yard. June is a peach. She was very helpful with area recommendations and quick to respond to questions. It was an easy, short drive to Acadia and nearby restaurants.We loved it!

I would give this home and the host a 10!The home was spotless and beautiful. I’ve never stayed at a place with a better equipped kitchen. Towels and hot water were plentiful. It was peaceful and quiet and had anything you could possibly ask for. June was a delight to work with and offered many helpful tips for the area. I would definitely stay here again!

Very clean and comfortable for three couples. Host was very helpful. Loved the welcome gift :) This was one of few places we have stayed that was actually stocked with everything we needed. Quality linens. We enjoyed staying in Trenton and taking the Island Explorer bus into town. Can’t say enough good things about our stay.

The home was wonderfully maintained and was cozy to stay in. It had everything we needed and the host was very communicative, which was appreciated. We were visiting from out of state and felt the proximity to Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, and Ellsworth was quick and an easy drive. June was a wonderful host who made the check in and checkout process smooth and simple. The cottage is in a perfect location only 20 minutes drive to the park and downtown Bar Harbor.

Beautiful Home for Family

We enjoyed our week vacation to Acadia NP. This Trenton based house is a great location for BH and SW Harbor Area (within 20 minutes drive to both). Accommodations were perfect! The owner was very accommodating.

The Oak Point Cottage was wonderful. It was super well equipped, very clean, and accommodated 5 adults easily. We chose it first of all because it was close to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. The cottage was as cute as the photos and well kept up. The host was VERY helpful and available to answer a number of questions we had before arriving. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Lovely Home and Excellent Host

We greatly enjoyed staying here. We would strongly recommend the home, and June is a charming and helpful host. The location is perfect for accessing Acadia and Bar Harbor, while also being private. Plus we saw wild turkeys!

We stayed at the cottage 7 nights. Wonderfully relaxing. Was very comfortable and clean. Would definitely stay again. It was only a short drive to Bar Harbor and other areas, but in a quiet location.

We used this as our base for visiting Acadia. This VRBO was clean and the kitchen was extremely well stocked. Was a great place to house our family of 5. It was a very quiet, peaceful and out of the way place. June was very responsive to any questions we had.

I grew up in Maine residing for the first few years of my youth at a lobster pound that my father and uncle operated in Sorrento. My siblings and I spent many hours on the surrounding rocky beach areas exploring tide pools at low tide and developing a love and appreciation for the ocean. The family moved to Mt Desert island in the late 1960's and my father established a business in downtown Bar Harbor. I grew up on the island and spent many of my adult years working at that family business before it was sold in 2000. Though I no longer live in Maine, I am drawn back to the ocean and the unique beauty of Acadia National Park several times a year. I really enjoy having the opportunity to host other visitor's trips to this beautiful region by providing both quality lodgings and information based on my personal knowledge of the area.

Upon first seeing this property, I was taken with its bright and cheery personality--wonderful qualities for a vacation home. Its location and quality are comparable to my other property and will be an option for those who are looking for facilities that are nearby for larger parties or several families traveling together who want separate accommodations.Or, for those who periodically ask if we have any other properties comparable to when it isn't available.
Being from this area and having worked in downtown Bar Harbor for many years, I appreciate the appeal of having a restful atmosphere to return to after a day of hectic activity in order to rejuvenate for the next day's excursions. This is the type of home and location that I personally would choose for a visit to this region.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

In addition to being close to Mt Desert Island, Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, and the other island communities, this property is also equidistant to Ellsworth where the superior grocery shopping is to be found. For those interested in seafood, there are a number of lobster pounds to be found on Rt. 3 just 5 minutes from the cottage. Though the ocean is not visible through the woods from the property, it is actually only about 1,000 feet from the shoreline. Just a few feet down the street is an open field with a view of Western Bay and the "mountains" of Acadia National Park, indicating the cottage's proximity to the ocean.
