Excellent condo very close to a great beach

A beautiful beachfront condo, very well equipped in a great neighborhood. Check in and check out processes was smooth. Amazing view of Pacific from the living room and the balcony. You cant live closer to the beach! In just few minutes you will be at the beautiful local beach. There is a reef surrounding the beach the so the water is very swimmable, and greatly enjoyed by kids and adults. Food trucks and local stores nearby.

I did not get to stay

the owner overbooked my room so I did not get to stay at all. I also did not get confirmation of my refund since it was their fault I did not get my accomodations. Please help me to fix this.

Look elsewhere

Upon arriving at the property, I realized we didn't have any instructions on getting in. I called the listed contact but it went to voicemail; text messaging was no luck either. I called Vrbo and explained the predicament. They tried contacting the host and also had no luck. After an hour, the host finally contacted us indicating the place was not ready but that would start "getting it ready ASAP". However, they DOUBLE BOOKED our the rental on another platform for the last day of the reservation so we would have to leave. We ended up having to stay at a hotel 20 minutes away from our intended location and had no use for all the groceries we bought for the kitchen (the hotel had no kitchen). Also, when we notified the host that we would be staying at a hotel (which is what they wanted due to the double booking), they didn't say thank you or anything. Pretty rude and unprofessional on their part.
