We have been taking golf trips all around the country for years and the Hickory House is the best, most unique house we've ever stayed in. Truely a house meant for golfers. The hosts do a great job, replenishing range balls daily, and the house has everything you could need. Great proximity to Tobacco Road and Pinehurst area. Thanks to Kim and Josh for an unforgettable experience on their beautiful property.

We had an amazing stay! Josh and Kim were great hosts. The house was clean and had every amenity we could’ve asked for, and more. The location was perfect for the courses we played. The combination of the driving range and simulator, games, and memorabilia made it the most unique property that we’ve stayed at. We can’t wait to return!

We had an awesome time at this place! Went with 8 guys total for a guy trip. It was perfect for us. Had a golf simulator in the back and access to a full range. Had beer kegs on tap. Was exactly what we were looking for. Place was very clean and welcoming. Would 100% stay here again!

Unreal house and unreal host. The hosts went out of their way to make sure we had everything needed. Offered accommodations to us that really made the trip stress free. If I or anyone I know is going back to the Pinehurst area for a golf trip, the first thing I’ll do or recommend is staying at this house.

We do a golf trip every year and this house by far is the greatest place we have stayed. Kim and Josh thought of everything, from driving range in back to great soap in the showers. Never had a host like this. We will be back.

Everything about this rental is exceptional. The hosts, the house, the thoughtful amenities resulted in us having an exceptional trip. Great value, and no doubt we’ll be returning for another golf trip in the near future

The Hickory House comfortably hosted my group of 8 friends. The house is impeccably furnished, spotless, and has everything you need to relax and have fun. Our group ended up spending all our free time at the house because there was so much to do. By far the best Vrbo I’ve ever stayed at. Can’t wait to return!

If youre looking for the perfect house for a group on a golf trip, look no further. Super clean house, all the amenities, driving range fully stocked with bridgestone range balls every morning, and the hosts are incredibly accomodating. Csnt say enough good things. We had an awesome time here and would do it again. Going to be tough for our next golf trip to match this one.

Excellent vacation home just miles from Tobacco Road, perfect for a large golf weekend with friends. The driving range was perfect and it was picked clean every day by the hosts. The hosts were attentive and made us feel welcome. 5 stars/recommend.

Great Tobacco Road Trip!

This property is beyond words! It was like Christmas when my two teenage, golf-loving boys and my husband walked in. It was immaculate, comfy, and full of fun! And it's only 5 minutes from Tobacco Road golf course and 25 minutes from Pinehurst! The hosts were such wonderful people and accomdated all requests quickly! I can't say enough about this place and we will definitely be back!

This is a golfer's paradise! We were very comfortable with (8) guys in this house over a 4 day / 3 night stay. The accommodations are amazing with a legit lighted driving range right outside your back door along with an indoor hitting bay that includes a launch monitor. The roomy main gathering area in the house includes a very cool full bar set-up with options for adding beer kegs, a large sitting area with plenty of room to relax and recline, a large dining table, and a great overall golfer's vibe throughout. The hosts (Kim and Josh) are incredibly responsive, accommodating, and service oriented. Kim was reaching out prior to our arrival to ensure all questions were answered and that we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. She even helped coordinate delivery of BBQ for our group on a day that the restaurant was actually closed for business! Do yourself a favor and checkout Brannan Schlitz BBQ in Sanford as you will not be disappointed. There is access to grocery stores, restaurants, pharmacies, etc all less than 10 minutes from the house in downtown Sanford if there is anything you need.Tobacco Road is five minutes from the house. We also played Quail Ridge which is nice track only five minutes away as well. Pinehurst resort is an easy drive less than 30 minutes away along with many other great courses in the area.Every member of our group could not say enough good things about the property and the desire to return for out next trip!

We cannot say enough about this place. Furthermore about the host, Josh and Kim! This was an awesome trip the second we walked into this place. Our 8 person golf group could not believe how much room we had, and the setup was perfect. From our bar with our very own beer of choice on 2 taps, to getting us everything we needed in the frig before we arrived. The outdoor patio had an outdoor shower, several grills for out cookouts. They also provided snacks, candy and chocolate thoughout the bar area which was perfect our group to mingle at our very own bar. Our group was so excited we literally went to the sim/range and hit over 1200 golf balls the arrival day! This complex layout was absolutely perfect, high end and we felt like VIPs. Its perfect for anyone wanting to have a 5 star central located spot for the best golf courses this area has to offer. Josh had personally came over to help re calibrate our specific needs on the golf simulator after 10 pm. Our group cannot say enough great things and we will for sure be back! Well done!Thanks again, this trip exceeded our expectations!

From the moment we arrived, it was clear this wasn't just a rental, it was a thoughtfully curated experience designed for comfort, fun, and serious golf lovers.The attention to detail from the host was exceptional. The house was immaculately clean, fully stocked with everything we could possibly need, from pantry staples and snacks to an abundance of dishes, cups, and kitchen supplies. You could tell nothing was overlooked.The bar area was a major highlight, spacious, comfortable, beer on tap, huge fridge, ice maker, it had it all!The star of the show? The incredible golf driving bay equipped with TrackMan! It’s an absolute dream for any golfer. Add in darts, video games, and a great lounging space, and you’ve got the ultimate indoor hangout spot for any group.And then there’s the outdoor cooking setup, which is unmatched. Whether you’re into smoking, grilling, or wood-fired pizza, they've got it all! Traeger smoker, Blackstone griddle, Big Green Egg, and even a pizza oven. We had just as much fun cooking outside as we did playing golf.Located just minutes from Tobacco Road Golf Club, this place is the perfect home base for a golf trip, but it’s also an amazing destination on its own. The Hickory House sets the bar for golf accommodations. We can’t wait to come back!
