My granddaughter announced as we were leaving that this is the best house yet! She wants to return.We all enjoyed it. Great house, fit our family of 9 perfectly. Mama bears and cubs visited on two days of our stay, to our delight!Fire pit lovely for s'mores and stories.

We loved our stay at The Bears Den! Beautiful, spacious home with the best stocked kitchen we’ve ever had at a rental home. Our daughters loved the fire pit, fishing and playing in the river (caught lots of fish!), and playing on the nearby playground. Kari is a wonderful, kind host who was very responsive and accommodating to messages. The beds are so comfortable we could’ve slept all day! Coffee on the back porch was the perfect way to start the day. We enjoyed hiking at the local state parks and shopping in Highlands and Cashiers. Highlight of the week was seeing the momma black bear with her 2 cubs! We already can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful property, had everything we needed and more! Communication from owner was amazing and they were incredibly accommodating. We had a short stay and wish we had had more time to enjoy the house, it's many amenities and the river!

The house exceeded our expectations of all it had to offer. The house is beautiful and a very relaxing place. It is well furnished and the beds slept wonderfully! We had a great experience and will definitely be back!!!

Absolutely wonderful house, my family of 9 so enjoyed our time here. The kids played Crockett, fished, roasted marshmallows, and the whole family really enjoyed the plethora of board games.

Had an amazing Thanksgiving holiday. The house was beautiful, very cozy, plenty of room, lots to do and far enough away but close to plenty of outdoor adventures for every age. The pictures do not do the house justice. Truly a great property. We will go back.

Exactly as described. Beautiful home in a great location. Plenty of room for 4 adults and 6 kids. Loved the screened porch, fire place, river, park, hiking, apple picking and bear sighting. The host was easy to communicate with as well.

Amazing property!

My family and I had the best week at the bear’s den. The house was clean, spacious and perfect for a big group. The backyard has a grill and a smoker which was great for dinners on the patio. My favorite part was the outdoor firepit where we made s’mores and stargazed. 10/10 would recommend and can’t wait to go back!

We had a wonderful stay, the house was beautiful and well taken care of, everything was clean and ready for us upon our arrival, it was very comfortable. It felt very secluded even being inside A golf country club. Being on the river gave the kids something fun to do, they caught fish every day.

Great Sapphire Property

This property has it all. Fireplaces, big bedrooms with private showers. Horsepasture River out back. Tons of decks and sitting options. Owner was very responsive. This is a great property for family vacation. Close to shops in Cashiers and local hikes. I highly recommend.

Our recent stay at the Cabin in Sapphire, NC, was an unforgettable experience, especially considering the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. Despite the challenges posed by road closures and power outages, the property manager's unwavering communication and updates ensured a smooth and enjoyable trip. The cabin itself was a gem, surpassing our expectations in every way. The tranquil setting, with a small river flowing in the back, created a peaceful atmosphere that was truly rejuvenating. The sound of the water provided a soothing backdrop to our stay, and the property's amenities, including a well-equipped sound system and ample outdoor seating, made it perfect for relaxation and entertainment. The fire pit was a particular highlight, offering plenty of space for cozy gatherings and stargazing. Overall, our stay was nothing short of amazing, and our kids absolutely loved it. If you're seeking a serene getaway amidst nature's beauty, this cabin is highly recommended.
