Beautiful property

We truly enjoyed our one-week stay. The property is beautiful, located close to many attractions and well equipped for us as a family of four. From here you can take trips to multiple interesting destinations like hiking trails, waterfalls, thermal baths or geysirs.

Great cabin, great view!

Beautiful and quiet cabin well located at Golden Circle. Great view on surrounding landscape and nice hot tub. 4x4 vehicle during winter definitely recommended. Thanks for having us!

Wonderful Stay in Golden Circle

We stayed a wonderful 6 nights at the Glacier Lookout Lodge!! The house fit our family of 5 perfectly - nice comfy beds, well-stocked kitchen, and two living room areas to hang out in. We loved the hot tub, and the views were spectacular from the yard! The house was so close to many attractions making it the perfect home away from home while we explored the Golden Circle!

Best remote work trip EVER!!!

My fiancé and i came to Iceland for a workcation and this awesome house was perfect, Everyday we would get up see awesome sights and return to work. View from the house is AMAZING, host was beyond EXCEPTIONAL, would stay here again

Perfect Location
 Beautiful View!

The lodge is located in a fantastic area. We spent our days exploring the Golden Circle and our evenings watching the colors change and the horses roam in the valley below. The lodge is equipped with all the essentials and is very comfortable. It was our first time in Iceland and we will definitely be back and will definitely stay in the lodge again.

Private paradise

Fantastic property! Very private and secluded location, while still being quite close to many attractions, small markets and dining establishments. Within 30 minutes, we were able to reach waterfalls, the Geysir, the crater, hot springs, and more. Our host was very communicative, and made some great reccomendations, including Efstidalur farm for dinner and ice cream (not to be missed).The cabin is beautiful and has fantastic views. My kids enjoyed using the hot tub while it snowed. We (family of 4) would definitely recommend this location!

Rustic cabin in the heart of the golden circle.Property is well laid out and comfortable for a family or a group of adults. Place is a little tired and lacked some essentials for cooking such as knives etc. The crockery was a bit ad hoc and could do with additional/new items. Hot tub needed a bit of a clean prior to using and the jets didn't work but it was nice enough. We had rain the whole time we were there and there was no real place to sit outside under cover. Overall we were satisfied but the cabin needs some TLC and investment in some essentials. Would recommend for sure.

Perfect location and the nicest summer house

It looks like a place straight out of a fairy tale. Everything from the front yard to the patio on the back, to the living room. Those three nights were surreal for us.There were board games kept in the living room and that kept our group engaged on both nights. What a place! I wish we had stayed longer. Close to the Gyser, waterfalls and not far from the Secret Lagune.
