Super cool historical spot walking distance to water, bars, restaurants, USNaval Academy, Maryland House. Check in was a bit cumbersome due to multiple properties, but well worth the 250 year old feel.

It was not clear that we had to check in at a different location than the property. The email with instructions came through while we were in transit and not online. Finding parking was also challenging since the receptionist gave us the wrong address. The room was cramped, the shower was tiny and the body bath in the shower was empty. We requested a refill on day one but it did not occur despite the housekeeping straightening the room and providing clean towels. Last, we had to call maintenance for the TV. Despite his efforts, it did not work. The location was ideal for sightseeing and restaurants. However, if you had plans which required using your car, an additional 25 fee would be incurred.Lastly, the sign on the door stated check out at 12:00. This seemed generous. However, in the process of checking out, our room keys were disconnected before 11:00. Fortunately, I found a maintenance man at the Inn with a master key. We were packed up and ready to go before someone was to be sent over from the reception inn.Not great

Location is great. Historic can be charming but we felt we were going fall through our room floor. The bathroom was so small with no shelving to put our toiletries. No hooks to hang towels, no place to even put a hand towel to dry our hands. No coffee cups for the coffee maker. No glassware if we wanted to have a cocktail in our room. Pretty disappointed to be considered a vrbo.

Great location. Nice accommodation. Might be a bit of a challenge for someone who has mobility problems because there are numerous stairs that you need to transit, regardless of which floor you are on. Of course, this is par for the course for a historic inn…
