Let me start by saying that my husband travels for work and gets tired of staying in noisy hotels. We were concerned about road noise, but gave this place a chance after reading other reviews. If you are outside or have the windows open, you can hear road noise. Windows closed and this place is super quiet! It is very clean, stocked with travel essentials, and has a well supplied kitchen if you choose to do some cooking. Beds are comfy. Location was fantastic and central to most touristy things in the area. You are not walking distance to anything except the one named restaurant, but the quiet is the trade-off. The restaurant we found to be a little meh, but that is personal preference. We would absolutely stay here again!

We had a great time staying in the Black Hills. The location is perfect as a jumping-off point for any activity in the area. The owners were very responsive when we had a minor issue. We would absolutely stay again!

Luxury and Privacy Combined

Booked a room for business guests at a Rockerville 2 bedroom suite and they loved it. Very happy with the privacy, luxury amenities and perfect location to see all the Black Hills has to offer. Not sure why anyone would stay in a 335 sq foot hotel when they can stay in a 1600 sq foot luxury 2 bedroom lodging in the Black Hills at a similar price. Everything was fantastic and I would highly recommend it to all visitors to the Black Hills.

This was a wonderful place to stay for my wife and I and our 2 kids. We had a wonderful time and everyone had their own room and bed to sleep in. Thank you to Jeff and Sandi for being so welcoming and making sure our experience was a great one. We loved being close to Mt. Rushmore and also to Rapid City. If we come again we definitely will hope that this place is available.

Beautiful condo for Black Hills vacation

We traveled to South Dakota to explore the Black Hills and Mount Rushmore. After a very unpleasant experience with a different rental service, we decided to give Vrbo a try—and we are so glad we did! Our stay at the “Washington Quarters” condo was absolutely wonderful.The condo is beautiful, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. The only trace of previous guests was a bag of garbage in the garage, which I only noticed during checkout—otherwise, it was immaculate. Jeff and Sandy were exceptional hosts—communicative, welcoming, and clearly take great pride in their property.The cleaning crew did a phenomenal job. Everything—from the appliances, which looked brand new, to the bedrooms and bathrooms—was pristine. We felt right at home from the moment we walked in.This stay completely restored our faith in vacation rentals. We would absolutely return and recommend this condo without hesitation.

NEW and clean VRBO!

This location is prime to all the Black Hills fun! This spot allowed us to enjoy all our adventures, but stay in a quiet, safe area. Our kids each had their own bed and bathroom, and my husband and I enjoyed a King bed and private bathroom. We were able to do our own laundry and the host provided everything we needed to do so!

Black Hills Beauty

The property was amazing! First time in South Dakota! It was clean and exactly like the pictures shown on website.It was super relaxing- no traffic or noise. Restaurant located across street that you could walk to. Everything we could ask for. Close to town, shopping, monuments, and parks. Communication from host was excellent. When we wanted to add an extra day to our vacation VRBO rental owner quickly responded that we could. Owner provided online guidebook explaining house rules and how to operate things in rental as well as where to find things in the area which was useful . The check in and departure was easy. Would highly recommend this property to anyone goingA on vacation in the Black Hills area!

Fantastic place

Our time here was wonderful! We were blown away when we stepped inside with the decoration and setting of the home. There were many appliances we hadn’t even thought of that were provided in the home. The owners are very kind and helpful when needed as well. Our stay here was fabulous and we definitely would return again.
